Am I the only one here who literally cannot stand seeing T**** or hearing him? If I am watching MSNBC and they replay clips of him, I immediately mute the TV. If I can't get to the remote fast enough, I plug my ears and hum loudly. I turn away if pictures of him are shown.
When I was getting counseling at the rape crisis center, I read an account of a woman who said that during his inauguration, she could only read transcripts of his press conferences because she could not handle that voice or seeing his face.

Remember when...
...in our school days, our teachers said: "America is a wonderful country, with so many opportunities. Why, ANYONE can grow up to be President!" That last sentence used to seem so comforting. Now, it's terrifying. 💔
Favorite/least favorite MSNBC hosts
Mine:
Favorites: Joy Reid, Chris Hayes, Lawrence O'Donnell, Ali Velshi, Ayman Mohyeldin, Mehdi Hasan, Jonathan Capehart, Katie Phang. (Nicolle would be up here if not for her incessant giggling.)
Honorable mention: Hometown girl Christine Kapostasy Jansing of Fairport Harbor, OH!! It's always nice when Chris Jansing mentions her roots now and then.
Least favorites: Ari Melber and Stephanie Ruhle. Ari is the embodiment of the "middle aged white guy trying desperately to be hip" trope. I hit mute every time he starts a sentence with "as Drake/Jay Z/Biggie once said..." UGGGH. (Along the same lines, Joe Scarborough is nearly as obnoxious when he starts in with the Red Sox.) Stephanie is energetic and LOUD. Nothing really wrong with those qualities in and of themselves, but I would prefer a calmer host at 11 PM and about to go to sleep. Don't even get me started with her "let's get smarter" catchphrase (and accompanying graphic).
Missed: Tiffany Cross and Zerlina Maxwell.
