It appears that the only thing they have against Judge Jackson is how their nominees were treated.

They just can't help trying to defend their unqualified and weak choices. ll Be glad when this is over so Biden can begin to think about his next nominee to replace Thomas.

Who here from PA is going to vote for Dr. Oz? Raise your hand.

Personally, I do not favor anyone with dual citizenship with any other country to hold office in the House, Senate or Presidency of the US.

Remember, when the USSR broke up, the former member countries took many resources with them.

Access to numerous resources including nuke reactors, natural gas channels, access to precious metals and some had more accessible oil reserves. Putin won't stop until he gets them all back or is killed in the process. Not too mention the productive people

I just can't believe there isn't a bumble bee drone somewhere looking for Putin honey.

Putin, Trump, Xi and Kim are the rectangle of evil in the world.

Tell me again why oil and gas companies have to make record profits or increased profits again?

Isn't profit or loss still a part of capitalism? In times like these why can't utility corporations make a level profit or take a loss? They have been making record profits prior to COVID and still making them through COVID. I simply do not get why sometimes major businesses can't take a loss or roll back in profits during national and global emergencies. They still get government subsidies to make up their losses so why do they have to keep hurting the working men and women of this country by jacking up prices in a time of crisis. They take the subsidies, the bailouts and still gouge us!

How sturdy is crypto currency? Could Russia using crypto currency spell the end of it?

If all western countries put the screws to it might it get rid of it?

The Pandemic, mindless MAGAs and now Putin's invasion of Ukraine

is so, so depressing. I have been feeling really, really down this year and it has barely begun.

I am grateful to have a place like DU to come to keep me informed and to be in the company of many good and decent people. It is uplifting. I even find a little humor in reading the trolls.

Thank you DU.

About that Russian convoy

somebody with military experience please explain why those tanks in line cannot be struck with rockets from the sides. It looked like the tanks were rolling along some wooded roads that could have been used to cover fighters using shoulder launched rockets to destroy some of the tanks from both sides of the road. The Russian can protect against airborne missiles but can they protect against close up missiles launched simultaneously?
