Saints Preserve Us!

Let's face the facts: Tom Brady used to be a Patriot. Being a patriot is a good thing (if you know what it really means!!!) But now, he's a Buccaneer.

Buccaneers are pirates. They are not good people! They plunder, they pillage, they steal, sometimes razing entire towns into rubble. In short, they are criminals!

This is bigger than football. Vea verily, this is a struggle of Good against Evil. In fact, it reminds me of a similar struggle that has gone on for the past two months. A victory by Saints over Greed-Obsessed Plunderers this very evening can only solidify and strengthen the Triumph of Righteousness over Iniquity that, Sweet Jesu, shall be Spoken Into Unshakeable Existence this coming Wednesday. For tonight, let the Mighty Brees of Truth blow the Marauding Hordes of Darkness onto the Rocks of Divine Retribution!

Amen.

'Hell to pay': Church of Satan mourns arson at New York 'Halloween House'

Sat 16, Jan 2021, 21.12 GMT

Members of the Church of Satan are grieving the destruction of a historic “Halloween House” north of New York City that authorities say was set ablaze by an unidentified arsonist.

The home, built in 1900, served as an Addams Family-style hub for local adherents of the religion, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

Surveillance footage showed a man walking up to the house after 5am on Thursday with two gas cans, splashing liquid on the front porch and igniting it. Two people escaped the house unharmed, authorities said.

Peter H Gilmore, high priest of the Church of Satan, paid tribute in a “requiem” to the house and its former owner, Joe “Netherworld” Mendillo, a church member and “dark side Martha Stewart” who died last year.

“Joe’s legacy will live on, even though the extraordinary home he so carefully cultivated has been destroyed through the hateful act of some deeply disturbed individual,” Gilmore said in the statement, which the Church of Satan sent to the Guardian via Twitter.

"It Was Heartbreaking To See": John Heilemann On His Up Close View Of The Capitol Insurrection

If this shit continues after Wednesday, I would definitely support President Biden stealing from Moscow Mikey Flynn and declaring martial law for 60-90 days, 'cause these MAGA mofos could give ISIS a run for their money on fanaticism!

2020 was hottest year on record by narrow margin, Nasa says

Last year was by a narrow margin the hottest ever on record, according to Nasa, with the climate crisis stamping its mark on 2020 through soaring temperatures, enormous hurricanes and unprecedented wildfires.

The average global land and ocean temperature in 2020 was the highest ever measured, Nasa announced on Thursday, edging out the previous record set in 2016 by less than a tenth of a degree.

Due to slightly different methods used, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) judged 2020 as fractionally cooler than 2016, while the UK Met Office also put 2020 in a close second place. The European Union’s climate observation program puts the two years in a dead heat.

Regardless of these minor differences, all the datasets again underlined the long-term heating up of the planet due to the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation and other human activities.
