This is not acceptable. People who have medical reasons not to get a shot should be exempt, but I fully support Biden's order. What people are doing is not pro-bodily autonomy or pro-life. If people cannot get help from the hospital when they need it, then their freedom to their body and their right to life is being violated. Enough is enough.

Myths vs. Facts about the vaccine.

I decided to "do my own research" about the vaccine and I found this article debunking a lot of the myths. I thought it might be good to share so people can show it to others who are hesitating about getting a vaccine.

Among the many reasons COVID-19 vaccination rates in the United States peaked earlier than experts hoped—then, rather than crescendoing into the summer months, began trending downward—are myths that took hold among the unvaccinated and solidified as their reasons not to get the shots. The vaccine will make women sterile; the vaccines are too new; the shots have a microchip in them; the vaccine itself will give me COVID; I’m immune because I had COVID; breakthrough cases prove vaccines are useless.

There are more. And none of them are true.

I think my favorite one is the microchip. Hello? Do you have a phone? What about a social security number? You're able to be tracked. Nobody needs to put a microchip in you.

What is wrong with Governor Abbott?

Gov. Greg Abbott vetoes criminal justice bills, legislation to protect dogs, teach kids about domestic violence

Abbott vetoed 13 bills authored by Democrats and seven by Republicans. Twelve of the vetoes targeted bills that originated in the House, and eight were from the Senate.
