Traitor Rep. Mo Brooks has finally been served

Some messaging I have been trying out on twitter re gun control/so-called "Constitutional Carry"

So-called Constitutional Carry is actually Guns on Demand.

Texas GOP values ---- guns on demand for domestic abusers.

Texas GOP values ---- guns on demand for school shooters.

Texas GOP values --- guns on demand for terrorists and felons.

I think we should throw this in their faces.

"The GOP wants guns on demand for school shooters!"

So instead of us imploring and begging for some measure of reasonable gun safety laws, instead we hit them with the absurdity of their reckless dangerous views. We go on the attack. We don't beg. Put them on defense.

DEFEND GUNS ON DEMAND FOR WIFE BEATERS, GOP!

Thoughts?

what if Biden offered Sinema a seat on Federal Appeals Court bench (lifetime)

she would never have to worry about re-election again. She gets all the prestige and attention ---- and she's out of the Senate.

And she has to know she has zero chance of getting elected again in AZ as a D or an R.

Sinema is not confused or misguided. What she's doing is deliberate and intentional.

She was screaming that at us yesterday while standing next to John Cornyn. There's no other way to see it.

She is never going to be persuaded.

She is never going to break the filibuster.

She is going to be responsible for us losing in 2022 and 2024 and voting rights being destroyed, and the Biden agenda being ground to an absolute stop.

She's not acting on some sort of misguided bipartisan principle. She knows exactly what she's doing and she's taking pleasure in it, and laughing about it behind closed doors with Mitch and Cornyn.

what are we going to do about Sinema

Clackamas commissioner who compared vaccine passports to Jim Crow laws stripped of duties

OREGON CITY, Ore. – The Clackamas County commissioner who proposed an ordinance comparing vaccine passports to “Jim Crow laws” has been stripped of his liaison duties for the county.

"Extreme conservative discourse is taken as neutral in the absence of a progressive alternative,

but it is anything but neutral. It is dangerous, and it hides truths that are crucial to human well-being, not only in America but throughout the world."

"The effects of extreme conservative public discourse over decades, but especially within the past decade, is right now having disastrous effects."

"In short, it shows up in legislation that takes away human rights and dignity."

"Extreme conservatism inflicts its damage in multiple venues: it chips away at democracy and the Public; it poisons the human spirit; and in the world community, it contributes to human agony and damages both America's standing in the world and America's friendships with other nations.

Extreme conservatism thus is not merely about abortion, the size of government, or gun control.

Extreme conservatism is an all-encompassing world-view, and its adherents want to bring into its compass the lives of every citizen."

-George Lakoff and Elisabeth Wehling, The Little Blue Book, 2012

we are really getting killed letting the GOP call it "Election Reform" and "Election Integrity"

legislation.

I don't understand why the GOP isn't being forced to do an actual talking filibuster

and you stay ON SUBJECT, with no breaks - bathroom or any other kinds.

Why are they still getting away with lazy filibuster votes??

Couple days ago I was discussing all the current GOP fuckery with my husband. He said - remember, democracy is the aberration. Authoritarianism, dictatorship, tyranny are the norms throughout history.
