Pray that Trump doesn't get Trevor McFadden in DC trial

I got massively criticized over the documents case claiming Aileen Cannon may be the judge there. I was right about that.

Trevor McFadden is a Trump-appointee in DC who has been handling a lot of the January 6th insurrectionist trials. While he's given sentences to most of them, they've been lots of slaps on the wrist.

Let's hope he is not Trump's judge in DC. I'm so tired of Trump getting his appointees in every case. I hope he gets Amy Berman Jackson.

The Supreme Court was never intended to have this kind of power

I encourage everyone to read this article. It shows how insanely corrupt the Supreme Court has become since the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln himself ran his campaign in defiance of the Court. Congress repeatedly removed jurisdictional powers of the court. The Court was largely subservient to Congress except on certain issues.

The Court never had the power to do anything they're doing now before the Civil War.

I really wish we could time travel.

I'd go back and make sure the Founders understood how many of their ideas would end up being absolute garbage.

Pardon powers with zero limits
2 Senators per state
Convicts allowed to run for office
The God-forsaken 2nd Amendment and its endless slaughter

The Founders really banked their whole framework on hoping the majority of the government would be ethical and care about Democracy. If only they knew what's happened to this country.

Hunter's laptop/Ukraine - failure
Biden's alleged corruption - failure

It's almost like Republicans are lying criminals who drum up fake investigations to cover up their own crimes.

Not excusing his crimes, but I understand why Hunter is such a hot mess

His mother and sister were killed in a car crash that Hunter and Beau were seriously injured in. His brother died of cancer at a fairly young age. He's been in the spotlight his whole life due to his dad being a politician.

I would probably be a hot mess if all that happened to me too.
