About Me
I was a member since the beginning of DU, but drifted away. During Trump, I decided to come back to the community of like-minded people for support and hope. In my last iteration here, I hit 10,000 posts, but will start again!

stand in front of sleeping human loudly meowing to get fed
Awake human hears and feeds you.
Then go back to the sleeping human and wake them up for 2nd feeding. Forget two humans communicate about your feeding.
Angrily scratch your scratching post. Try to get fed an hour later.

I play it everyday. I also play the mini puzzle, but cheat sometimes

it's good to have a safe space away from GD and some other fora.

my favorite show now. It's quite different to watch it knowing who the killer is.
I'll still watch it. I love the scenery and characters.

feeling depressed and anxious today. I cannot return to my job and still function daily. Still have not heard back about short-term disability payments ( I pay for the premiums). I have to wait until I hear from them. I'm assuming I'll hear no.
As a self-supporting person most of my life, I'm having anxiety about having enough money if and when I get SSDI.
Having a hard time relaxing due to this.
So much to worry about.
Thanks. I'm trying to take it dsy by day. My SO is paying rent and utilities. He just turned 69. Should he pass, I'll be all alone and without finial help. My mind is running in circles of doom
Thanks for listening. I'm mad about being disabled.

proudly proclaim you haven't had it.
That is all.

I'm out of work due to illness, living off savings now. So, I now shop once a week for $100.00. Feeding 2 adults and a cat. So, I shop at Wal-Mart. Survival at this point.
My SO is profoundly disabled and needs the ride-around cart. He doesn't get out much, so a trip out, even to WM, gets him out of the house.
I asked for a manager today because, as usual, the disabled carts were not plugged in and batteries were run down. This is a huge problem for us. It only happens at Wal-Mart. I asked the manager if staff could make sure the carts were plugged in for users who need them. I was polite.
I'm a middle-aged white woman.
