Blue dots painted in front of Biden supporters' homes in California

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/524188-blue-dots-painted-in-front-of-biden-supporters-homes-in-california?amp

Residents of Roseville, Calif., have reported blue dots being spray-painted in front of homes with Biden-Harris campaign signs, local affiliate KCRA-TV reports.

Roseville resident Adam Quilici told the news outlet that he was making breakfast when a neighbor told him to look in front of his home. He said a blue dot was painted in the road in front of his house.

Other residents told the news outlet they believe the dots were painted between Saturday and Sunday.

"The houses that were targeted have Biden-Harris signs in front of them - every single one," Quilici told KCRA-TV. "There aren't any blue dots anywhere where there are not those signs present."

Quilici called the police, according to the news outlet, and they told him that they believed him after making sure it had nothing to do with utilities.

"This is not just a smashed pumpkin on Halloween," Quilici said. "This is like a message and I'm not really OK with it."

UPDATE: "VICTORY"

*Oath of Office. President, VPresident, House, Senate & Judicial

Executive Branch: President and Vice President of the United States

According to the 20th Amendment to the Constitution, a President's term of office begins at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on January 20th of the year following an election. In order to assume his or her duties, the President-elect must recite the Oath of Office.
The Oath is administered by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

The President-elect places the left hand on the Bible, raises the right hand, and takes the Oath as directed by the Chief Justice. The Oath, as stated in Article II, Section I, Clause 8 of the U.S. Constitution, is as follows:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The Vice President also takes an oath of office. Until 1933, the Vice President took the oath of office in the Senate; today, both the President and Vice President are inaugurated in the same ceremony. The Vice President's oath is administered immediately before the President's. The Vice President's oath may be administered by the retiring Vice President, by a member of Congress, or by some other Government official, such as a justice of the Supreme Court.

The Vice President's oath is as follows:

"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same: that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

Legislative Branch: Members of Congress

At the start of each new Congress, in January of every odd-numbered year, the entire House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate takes an oath of office.
For Members of the House, the Speaker will direct the Members to rise, and the oath is administered. A Senator-elect takes the oath of office from the presiding officer in an open session of the Senate.
The current oath is as follows:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

Judicial Branch: Supreme Court Justices

According to Title 28, Chapter I, Part 453 of the United States Code,
each Supreme Court Justice takes the following oath:

"I, [NAME], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as [TITLE] under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God.''

Appears there are quite a few officials who have failed their sworn Oath.
Every govt class in school teaches this. How did those Officials miss it?

RE: 25th Amendment

OCT, 2020
House Democrats’ new bill on the 25th Amendment, explained
It’s doubtful the Republican-led Senate will move on the bill, so it’s unlikely to become law anytime soon.

*The Constitution’s 25th Amendment, ratified in 1967, governs presidential succession and the transfer of power from an incapacitated president.

*Part of the amendment says a vice president and a majority of the Cabinet can declare that a president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” It also says Congress can appoint a group in place of the Cabinet to make the same declaration.

*House Democrats introduced a bill to create a new body that would take over the role of the Cabinet accordingly. It would not grant Congress the ability to invoke the 25th Amendment.

*It’s doubtful the Republican-led Senate will move on the bill, so it’s unlikely to become law anytime soon.
-----------------

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., unveiled a bill Oct. 9 to establish a commission that could be tasked with determining if a president is no longer fit for office.

The bill from Raskin, a former constitutional scholar, comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s Oct. 2 announcement of his positive COVID-19 test. T
he bill would create what would be known as the ‘‘Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of the Office” in accordance with the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.

The commission would not have the unilateral power to invoke the 25th Amendment and kick Trump or any future president out of the White House. Pelosi and Raskin insisted in a press conference that the move was unrelated to the election less than a month away.

This is not about President Trump,” said Pelosi. “He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.”
********

Interesting knowledge to have on hand when discussing the process of the 25th Amendment.

The most Pelosi & Raskin could do within the powers of their office, is to appoint a seperate commission, though it is clear that McConnell's Senate would never let this see the light of day.

I believe this new commission would be useful for the future, should the opportunity be ours if we vote ourselves a 2020 trifecta.

This brings another opportunity to set powers to examine the feasibility of the 25th should it be necessary someday. *Such as, in the incapacitation of the President by, perhaps Covid-19 debilitation.*

Right now however, the 25th Commission as well as the 25th as it currently is stated, is stoppped from even being addressed by the GOP majority.

And yes, as with Pelosi & Raskin, any creation of policy protections for our US Govt, relies on a vast experience & knowledge of Constitutional Law.

Grateful we have both the experienced & Constitutionally educated leaders making inroads towards Building Back a Better & more sound system.

I am grateful that such an enormous task is in the capable hands of our experienced Democratic Leaders.
