"It's not a coup. It's a Cover-up"

Trump has installed Kash Patel as chief of staff at the Pentagon, a former Nunes staffer and now in the NSC, as WH officials move the chess pieces around following Esper's abrupt firing yesterday

"Interestingly, A. Vindman testified about both Patel and Ellis during the impeachment hearings."

"Trump and Pompeo are the same as third-world warlords now. Congress MUST act".

Impeach him again.

"Why Gov. Andrew Cuomo will sometimes, literally, put on his father's old shoes"

From The Democrat&Chronicle

Why Gov. Andrew Cuomo will sometimes, literally, put on his father's old shoes

ALBANY - For Gov. Andrew Cuomo, it's a source of inspiration, love and motivation. Sometimes he will put on his father's old dress shoes.

Cuomo gave a detailed, emotional and revealing explanation on The Howard Stern Show of why sometimes he will slip into the shoes of the late, three-term Gov. Mario Cuomo when he's looking for inspiration during the tumultuous governing of the COVID-19 pandemic.

To the current governor, his father was his best friend, his mentor ó who he strived to be and who, he admitted, he still seeks affirmation even after his death on the day of Cuomo's second inauguration on Jan. 1, 2015.

"Putting on the shoes is almost my conscious affirmative of the void," Cuomo told Stern on Monday. "In other words, Iím saying, yes, I feel that void and now heís gone and I feel that void even more and Iím aware of it. And Iím so aware of it that when I need to fill the void, I literally put on his shoes."

In a divided Congress, Biden needs to build his own coalition.-WaPo

Fighting stubborn McConnell for 4 years, Speaker Pelosi & President Biden will form another way around the Senate gridlock.

This is where Joe Biden's skillset comes into play, with or without the 2 Georgia Senate seats up for grabs.

Forget McConnell. Forget Pelosi.
In a divided Congress, Biden needs to build his own coalition.

Party leaders and caucuses are deeply invested in maintaining unity and will not compromise. But with support from a new president....

Having escaped the hell that was the Trump presidency, it appears we have returned to the political purgatory of divided government, with Democrats in control of the White House and the House of Representatives, and Republicans holding on to a razor-thin majority in the Senate.

With two Senate seats from Georgia undecided but more likely to go Republican, speculation has already begun about how a President Joe Biden will be able to leverage his deep knowledge and personal ties on Capitol Hill to broker compromises between a cunning House speaker and a stubborn Senate majority leader to end decades of legislative gridlock and finally get things done.

Without an assist from the 2 Dem seats in Georgia, this is exactly where Joe Biden's 48 years of coalition building in DC will show it's worth.
