would miss this up. Some replied McConnell reelection and I though, right. He couldn't do this. He can't do this and win. But, looks like he is not concerned. Kinda scares me why a self interest man like McConnell has no concerns for his reelection.

People are going to be suffering because of this. Many will be evicted. They can't afford to pay their bills nor feed their kids.
This is all the fault of the Repugs. Make sure the American People here that it the fault of the Repugs. Make sure the American People know who's to blame. The Dems need to keep hitting that message while the Repugs duck their responsibility.
You know that the Repugs will somehow blame the Dems for this hold-up. The Dems can't let that happen. The Dems need to go on and keep on the offensive with this. They need to keep hammering this home to the American People so that come Nov. the vote is so overwhelmingly blue that we take more seats in the House. We win the Senate with 60 seats. And Joe Biden becomes our President.

We know that many Oregonians have been counting on the extra $600 per week through the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) program. Since the program began on March 29, we have paid out more than $2 billion in FPUC benefits, so this is going to have a significant impact on Oregon families and communities. Just last week, the Department paid the extra $600 to more than 130,000 Oregonians, and that doesn’t include some Oregonians whose claims have not yet been processed.
We want to be sure Oregonians know what to expect, and also want them to know about additional resources available to them to supplement the $600 weekly loss in benefits. Here is what you need to know if you have already been receiving those benefits or are waiting for your benefits to be paid:
Every Oregonian who was eligible for regular unemployment benefits or Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits between March 29 and July 25 is also eligible for the extra $600 per week during that period.
When you file a claim after July 25, you will still get your regular unemployment benefits or PUA benefits for each week you are eligible, if you file a weekly claim. You will no longer get the extra $600 each week.
If you haven’t yet been paid for weeks between March 29 and July 25, you will still get the extra $600 per week for those weeks once your claim is processed, for all weeks you were eligible.
We want every Oregonian to know about all benefits available to them. Unemployed Oregonians may also qualify for help paying for rent, utilities, food, healthcare, and more—especially now that the extra $600 per week is ending. We encourage you to visit 211info.org or call 211 to learn what benefits might be available to you. Free interpretation is provided.
We are grateful to our Congressional delegation for pushing hard to bring this extra relief to so many Oregonians. We know it has helped thousands of Oregon families who haven’t been able to return to work. We are frustrated that getting Oregonians the benefits they deserve has not been easy. We are making progress, and we know there’s a lot more work to do.
We hope that Congress will quickly pass additional measures to extend the program or come up with a solution that is able to be easily implemented so Oregonians can get more relief—and quickly. If they do, we will see how the legislation will impact Oregonians and share that information with you as quickly as we can.

Anyone not receive your tax return yet? I sent them turbo April 2. I need check thru mail.
Right after I sent in my tax return in April I was reading that the stimulus was coming out and they were going to put refunds on hold. Then I read it might be Aug until I received my refund. I thought maybe after July 15 I would get mine and I still haven't. I received state 2-3 weeks after sending them in April 2.
My taxes are pretty straight forward so I can't imagine there is a problem with them and state had no problem. My son did them for me so I do not have the information to check on a site people have given me. Before I start nagging him, I thought I would ask if anyone else is in my situation.
They are talking about sending out another stimulus and I am concerned that will put a halt to taxes again.

FIXED: A couple weeks ago I had an update and tried to force edge on me. Continued with Chrome.
Last night did an update and even when I click on my Chrome, where I have all my sites, when I click new tab it automatically is taking me to edge and I cannot find a way to dismantle. I am so computer stupid. Does anyone know anything about this and how I can get my chrome new tabs?
Edit: I am leaving this here because I saw at least one poster that had the same issue with edge. There is an easy fix.

What has increased in cost under Trump. Had one saying Trump better because less taxes, ACA cost him
I know with taxes the payroll tax decreased some but we are paying out more in our tax return. ACA did cost people because health insurance was required, so I am not going to say anything about that. But what has Trump done that cost us more today?
China has increased cost of goods for us? We pay more at the end of the year?

Edit: Also it is being said Obama worked with Putin the same as Trump when I discussed the bounty. I know at first Obama tried dialogue with N Korea and didn't work then got tough. But where are they getting Obama treated Putin the same?

Broadway Star Nick Cordero Dies at 41 After Over 90 Days in Hospital from Coronavirus Complications
Broadway star Nick Cordero has died after a months-long battle with the coronavirus. He was 41.
Cordero, whose Broadway credits include Waitress and Rock of Ages, died on Sunday morning at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he had been hospitalized for over 90 days.
He is survived by his wife Amanda Kloots, whom he wed in September 2017, and their 1-year-old son Elvis Eduardo.
"God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth. ⠀ I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Trump started pushing in middle May and the protest and Gov and red states started rushing opening and all the self righteous of the right, can't breathe, Mother day weekend, Memorial Day, Trump mocking reporters that wore them and telling them to take off, going into business without wearing when it was rule for everyone to wear.
Trump and the Republicans created this.
And they are telling me to go out and earn a paycheck of 1300 a month.

It needs to be extended until we see the Govt actually doing what we all know it needs to do to protect us, creating a safer working environment. Just like, the military should just sit down and do nothing, watching and waiting for trump to finally address Putin assassination money that he said nothing about because supposedly he did not know. Now he does. Still waiting Trump. And nothing. Almost a week 5 days), and Trump has said nothing to Putin, done nothing to Putin, does not even care about a bounty on military.
We should have a nationwide sit in the month of Aug, watch the money flow stop. And we all know how to do it, having done it in April, part of May. Really that is all, wasn't very long. Because it was well into March before most started. By middle May people were going nuts.
