gab13by13's JournalPresident Biden Gets His 100th Judge Confirmed.
Chuck Schumer needs to keep it going, President Biden is on pace to confirm as many or more lower court judges than Trump had confirmed.
Over the four years Trump has managed to confirm three Supreme Court justices and 226 lower court judgesthe most confirmed in one presidential term since Congress expanded the size of the courts under Jimmy Carter.
Today, almost a third of active judges on the thirteen circuit courts were nominated by Trump and confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate for lifetime appointment.
The Senate needs to pick up the ball for 2 years since we lost the House, keep those confirmations coming Chuck, and it's past time to convene a Senate committee to take up the slack that was lost when the J6 committee was absolved, looking at you Dick Durbin.
A Really Stupid Question
I understand a little about a grand jury; usually 23 jurors, takes only 12 to indict, the witness/target doesn't get to have his/her attorney present.
What if Donald Trump is subpoenaed before a grand jury?
My dumb question, what if he refuses to show? Can he still be indicted?

Hey people, feel free to post articles here from Newsweek, Washington Examiner, Business Insider, The Hill.
Have at it, but I'm not clicking on that right wing propaganda.
Jack Smith Isn't At The End Of His Investigations
I read here, about "numerous" TV prosecutors claiming that the Trump prosecution is nearing the end, not so fast, so says Andrew Weissmann. I will name names. Weissmann said that Jack Smith wants to lock down Mike Pence's testimony in stone via the grand jury.
Locking down Pence lets Smith know how he will testify at a trial.
Also, the discussion about executive privilege was unanimous that Pence/Trump claiming it would lose in court and it most likely will be resolved in just a matter of months.
Watch Deadline Whitehouse if you want to know the real deal.
IMO Pence's testimony could have been locked down a year and a half ago.
Hey, I hear we have plenty of time, at least we know that Jack Smith is going after Trump.
It's Past Time For Dick Durbin To Open An Investigation
We lost the House, the Senate needs to step it up.
How about the Senate investigate the Barr/Durham/Italian government bull shit?
We can't depend on Federalist Society member Christopher Wray, we can't depend on an Inspector General.
Calling on Dick Durbin, time to fire up your committee, the House did its part the last session, let's go.

Elon Musk Blocking Ukraine From Using His Satellites.
Elon Musk, who speaks fluent Russian, has blocked Ukraine from using his Starlink satellites in conjunction with their drones.
I am wondering if this is a movement by Musk away from helping Ukraine?

Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceXs chief operating officer, said at a conference in the US that the surprise decision had been taken because it had never been the companys intention to allow Starlink to be used for offensive purposes.
That prompted an immediate complaint on Thursday morning from Mykhailo Podolyak, a senior adviser to Ukraines president, Volodymr Zelenskiy, who argued that Musks business had failed to recognise Ukraines right to self-defence.
Companies, Podolyak tweeted, had to decide if they were on the side of the right to freedom or on the Russian Federations side and its right to kill and seize territories after its unprovoked invasion last year.
Neal Katyal Said It On Nicolle
Another fantastic opening segment on Deadline Whitehouse. Many questions being asked of the Manhattan Da, of SDNY, of DOJ in general, of the IRS, the IRS Inspector General. None of them want to indict Donald Trump and then Neal Katyal summed it up, paraphrasing; prosecutors almost have to try to lose a case against Donald Trump.
I don't think that Katyal believes that Bragg is going to pull the trigger, he appears to have launched a publicity campaign to get reelected.
Michael Cohen is selling his book.

YES! Trump Is Going To Trial April 25th.
Manhattan judge Lewis Kaplan has scheduled the E. Jean Carroll defamation law suit for April 25th.
Carroll also sued Trump for sexual battery after New York passed a law, the Adult Survivor's Act, that allowed victims of sexual assault a 1 year window to sue after the statute of limitations had run out.
Judge Kaplan is considering combining the 2 lawsuits into one trial.
For those of you who say Trump will not be held accountable (people like me😊 could this be the trial that breaks the ice?
Oh yeah, Carroll's lawyer, Roberta Kaplan (no relation to the judge) is one of the best. Carroll has fought Trump for over 3 years and she has waited him out, let the trial or trials begin.
