Once every couple of months I have a mini-stroke. I know when I have one because I have trouble forming sentences and finding the right words. It usually lasts from half an hour to 2 hours. It isn't every time I speak. I don't know what form of dementia he has, but it is much worse than mine. I do have to say that even when having a mini-stroke or a TIA I can still function.
