Remember Florida in 2000 when Repubs were defending late arriving ballots....

.....from U.S. Military overseas? This because "Dubya" did well with the military vote. Won't be seeing that so much this year.

This is quite a litany of all the damage that Trump has done to our country....

....in the past three years. It's from a Huffington Post article about a Washington Post editorial.

Trump had “torched” the country’s “standing in the world, loyalty to allies, commitment to democratic values, constitutional checks and balances, faith in reason and science, concern for Earth’s health, respect for public service, belief in civility and honest debate, beacon to refugees in need, aspirations to equality and diversity and basic decency,” it added.

Yep, that's a pretty good summary, at least of the general highlights.

Seems like a good time to revisit my favorite Steve Bannon meme......

....the one that involves pork bits in gelatin.

Has anyone else thought about the "Post-President Trumps Era" when we.....

.... are confronted with considering a Donald Trump Presidential Library, the unveiling of his official portrait at the White House or (on a happier note) whether he should lie in state under the Capitol rotunda in a place made more holy today by John Lewis?

The housecleaning that begins in January starts with getting Trump out of the White House and.....

....continues as we watch a wonderful parade of loathsome assholes pack up and leave government "service", people like Pomeo, Mnuchin, Miller, Ivanka, Kushner and on down the line. But here's the thing. As I watch our government in action in Portland and see the goons from ICE, CBP, U.S.Marshalls Office and Federal Protective Services tear gassing and beating my fellow Americans, I WANT THEM GONE TOO. The housecleaning should put hundreds of these militarized morons out of their taxpayer funded jobs as they are clearly unfit to have such responsibility. The "I was just following orders" defense didn't work in 1946 and shouldn't work today.

Here's a yard sign in Spokane that encourages us to secede from Western Washington....

....and all those liberals in Seattle. What do you think of such an idea? Matt Shea isn't the only home grown nut job that we can boast of.

Thanks to "forgotmylogin" and "billh58" and "Glorfindel" and "cayugafalls" for helping me to figure out how to attach a photo to an OP. Imgur, who knew.

If I try to start a discussion, how can I add an image to my original post?

Every day you read that Trump was "enraged" about this or that. It's never that...

...he is displeased, or unhappy, but always enraged. It must be exhausting to go through life with your outrage meter stuck on ten. Today's Talking Points Memo article is an example, but they do go on to say that he was merely having a "conniption", which I find a charming use of the language.

My confirmation number for the U.S. Census was 027a002d-7fe0-45ef-8b42-1cad7g7d85d4 if you....

can believe it. Can anyone explain why some thing like this has to be so complicated?

Am I right in thinking that the phone call that Trump had with President Zelensky....

....is known to us by a summary of various notes taken by NSA officials in the situation room? Has anyone asked if there is an official transcript, or, better yet, a recording? And if not, why not.
