Ex-Police car for sale in the Puget Sound area, that really must be a gun-humpers dream. Check....

.....out the second and third photos in the CraigsList ad to see the "custom gun locker". I would hope (but truly can't be sure) that the firearms are not included in the sale. Mind you this is the sane part of my state, the part that elects good, progressive Dems every year, despite the deranged lot over the mountains in my part of WA. Closer you get to Idaho, the more nuts in the fruitcake.

The sight of those arrogant Texas police officers standing behind Gov. Abbott with their......

....smug expressions and fucking Stetson hats makes me both sick and angry. You idiots and cowards bear some responsibility for these deaths, and if you can't accept that, or even act like you do by taking that dumb hat off and showing a little respect for those dead kids, you and your pride don't belong in law enforcement. Quit your job, retire, go do something else and please, please don't expect to get work after retirement as a "school security officer" as you may have been thinking.

This episode of "Southpark" should be enough to sink Dr. Oz's campaign.

Remember when, after 9/11, the Republicans were so anxious about "Homeland Security", that along....

.....with creating a entire new government agency, they pushed through laws allowing it to tap into main telephone trunk lines to monitor and record massive numbers of telephone calls? The fear was that our privacy was being eroded by an overzealous response to national security. If these same republicans are now panicking trying to recall conversations they had on January 6th, I hope that consideration of this reality that they created adds to their fears.

If the law says that people working on a movie set are entitled to know......

.....when a loaded gun is in the area, why are not we, the general public, entitled to know when we are in the presence of a concealed carry person? Open carry only would allow us to avoid the people who feel the need to be armed in public and put us at risk.

August J. Pollak asked if one could think of three good things about....

...the Orange Menace. He came up with three that I think are pretty good. He's a blogger who I used to follow and enjoy, both his commentary and his cartoons. Drew a cat called "R.C.", which was short for "Rightwing Conspiracy".

It's been a few years since "George Dubya" and his pal "Brownie" screwed up New Orleans.

Let's hope that this storm isn't as severe, the Corps of Engineer improvements do their job and the city does not flood like the last time.

This article by Arundhati Roy explains how the autocratic government of India's Modi.....

......has created the almost unimaginable Covid crisis that they are now facing. Please take into account that this article was published almost a week ago and things have only gotten much worse.
