crimycarny's JournalNote to media: It's a CON! Stop giving airtime to Trump and associates election claims!
Trump is in his element right now, laughing all the way to the bank. All these outrageous claims made by Trump, Rudy, Jenna Ellis, etc. are outrageous for a reasonto get the media to talk about it!!! Trump knows how to get his idiot supporters to believe anything so why is the media allowing themselves to be his microphone. They might as well include links to Trumps fundraising PACS.
Everyone asks questions like Why would an attorney like Jenna Ellis, who used to hate Trump, go down into the gutter with him? MONEY!!! Its not that hard to figure out!
Until something that could legitimately throw a wrench into the 2020 election happens the media needs to stop being Trumps stooge. Actually that is giving the media too much credit, they know exactly whats going on and are playing along for their own selfish reasonsratings (which also boils down to money). So sick of it.
Sidney Powell retweets Trump cancel "January 6" Georgia runoff
As maddening as this tweet is, I missed the fact that is listed the wrong date for the Georgia runoff, but 2 sharp eyed twitter users didnt. I laughed out loud.

Haha! Great Public Service video from Germany about the importance of staying home during COVID
Funny and a great way to get out the message:
Whatever happened to Alan Dershowitz?
He has disappeared off the face of the earth ever since Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested.
He used to be on Fox News quite a bit but I havent heard hide nor hair of him since Maxwells arrest.
Let's play a game. Without looking at the author, who do you think wrote this CNN article?
Based solely on the headline I knew right away who the author was, and I was right.
Why Trump is the clear front runner for the 2024 nomination
Anyone want to guess who wrote that pile of dung?
Republican Party vs Democratic Party re: holding to Democratic policies vs Authoritarianism
The Washington Post had a fascinating article about a study done by the V-Dem institute (over 600 political scientists around the globe) which track political party trends in relation to Democratic versus illiberalism. Its a stark and scary analysis of data which puts in black and white what we already knowthat the Republican Party is moving rapidly towards authoritarianism. I wish I could post the graphs as they tell the story in the starkest terms, but I cant figure out how to get around the paywall. Basically there are 3 main categories:
1) Level of party commitment to democracy (Dems at the highest level and unchanged over decades, GOP a steep decline since around the time the Tea Party came on the scene)
2) How often a party demonizes their opponent (Dems at usually not, GOP between usually and always
3) How often Party Leaders incite violence (Dems hold steady at never, GOP steep decline to in-between rarely and sometimes. )
The study only goes up to 2018, the authors state the GOP has gone even further into authoritarianism since then.
So, no, the both sides do it is absolutely bogus, as we already knew. But the massive gap between the two parties commitment to democracy was even worse than I had imagined. Very scary stuff.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/11/12/republican-party-trump-authoritarian-data/
Now, according to data released by an international team of political scientists just before the Nov. 3 election, its possible to quantify the extent to which the Republican Party no longer adheres to such principles as the commitment to free and fair elections with multiple parties, the respectful treatment of political opponents and the avoidance of violent rhetoric.
The Republican Party in the U.S. has retreated from upholding democratic norms in recent years, said Anna Lührmann, a political scientist at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and a former member of the German parliament. Its rhetoric is closer to authoritarian parties, such as AKP in Turkey and Fidesz in Hungary.
Election security needs to be one of Biden's priorities
I dont feel our elections are secure. Paper ballots dont ensure integrity unless recounted manually or the vote tabulation machines are not controlled by private entities. Voting tabulation hacks arent that hard and Rove has most certainly done it before.

Late on Election Day, John Kerry showed an insurmountable lead in exit polling, and many considered his victory all but certified. Yet the final vote tallies in thirty states deviated widely from exit polls, with discrepancies favoring George W. Bush in all but nine. The greatest disparities were concentrated in battleground statesparticularly Ohio. In one Ohio precinct, exit polls indicated that Kerry should have received 67 percent of the vote, but the certified tally gave him only 38 percent. The odds of such an unexpected outcome occurring only as a result of sampling error are 1 in 867,205,553. To quote Lou Harris, who has long been regarded as the father of modern political polling: Ohio was as dirty an election as America has ever seen.
Why was this never looked into?
Stephen Colbert is angry
Anyone see Stephen Colbert talking about Trumps press conference? He became very emotional. Powerful stuff.
Ohio---did it happen again?
Interesting read on how GOP tried to cheat in Ohio in 2012 like they did in 2004. This article speculates a lawsuit filed which could have set up a precedent for a manual audit is what prevented Rove form activating the software that would flip votes. But I remember Anonymous claiming they were onto Roves man in the middle planned attack and claimed they shut it down.
How is Rove not in jail?

According to SourceWatch, Spoonamore, a Republican, is a recognized expert in the field of data security and digital network architecture who has worked as a consultant for MasterCard, American Express, Chubb Insurance, Bloomberg, and others.
Spoonamore attested that he found evidence that Rove, in collaboration with IT company owner Mike Connell, had used computer fraud to steal the 2004 election for George W. Bush.
The tabulation system Connell designed allowed for the introduction of a third computer between computer A and computer B, Spoonamore had written.
This centralized collection of all incoming tabulations would make it easy for a single operator, or preprogrammed force balancing computer to change the results in any way desired by the team controlling Computer C.
Ohio was never considered a Joe win, but I wonder if this man in the middle still exists in Ohios electronic voting infrastructure. Dont see why not since no one seems to care enough to give any oversight.
Intelligence warned Obama Administration in 2016 Russia could change votes
A Washington Post article on the book Rigged by David Shimer. Shimer claims US Intelligence warned they had evidence Russia could, and were hacking into voting machines across America and they had the ability to flip votes. Nothing was done. Harry Reid said he thought votes were flipped against Hillary..no forensic analysis was ever done.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/06/25/could-obama-have-stopped-putins-election-interference-new-book-argues-he-didnt-think-he-needed/
Obama, who declined to be interviewed for Shimers book, did warn Putin against interfering, and he imposed sanctions on Russia after the election. But his reluctance to respond forcefully ahead of time flowed in part from the fear that Russian hackers could tinker with voting machinery or even manipulate vote totals. By August 2016, the U.S. intelligence community had reported that Russian hackers could edit actual vote tallies, according to four of Obamas senior advisers, Shimer reports. This revelation was a game changer. Americas electoral infrastructure was penetrable. (Youd hope that such officials would speak out now, and not anonymously, with another presidential contest looming.)
My hope is that mail-in votes are tabulated differently. We need a paper ballot for every voter in every state and manual recounts in every state before elections are certified. Only way to prevent this in the future, especially as our leaders dont appear concerned with finding out if Russia is messing with our votes. Do they not want to cause a wide spread panic? I mean, come on!
