Germany: there is no guarantee the EU will buy the quantity of soybeans that Washington expects

A couple of days ago Donald Trump announced a deal whereby the European Union allegedly would buy tons and tons of soybeans from United States farmers. Today we hear this:

Kloeckner, speaking to Reuters on the sidelines of a G20 meeting in Buenos Aires, said the amount of soy Europe will import is yet to be determined.

Will we be able to do whatever President Trump wishes for? I don’t know. Let’s see whether this will be the case or not,” she said.

Whirlpool loved Trump's tariffs. Now it's struggling

Source: CNN

In January, when Trump announced tariffs on imported washing machines, CEO Marc Bitzer said, "This is, without any doubt, a positive catalyst for Whirlpool."

But the Trump administration didn't stop there. It imposed tariffs on some imported metals, sending raw material prices on steel and aluminum higher. That raised costs for Whirlpool and squeezed profit margins.

The company responded by raising prices on washing machines in the United States, causing some demand to fall.

Whirlpool's (WHR) stock tanked 10% premarket Tuesday after it missed Wall Street's expectations and it cut its full-year outlook in part due to higher costs.

Ocasio-Cortez gets pants on fire on economy statements

Unemployment is not low because "everyone has two jobs", as Ocasio said. Only 5% of workers of save two jobs.

Unemployment is low because Obama got us out of the recession and boosted the economy with his policies.

Trump's disastrous ideas are expected to fuck things up soon (tariffs, deregulation, etc.)
