GOP IN DISARRAY
GOP REELING IN HISTORIC DEFEAT
you know, the ones they always print when a Democrat loses in a close election.
I mean, its California so the outcome isn't surprising, but that never stopped the press when a Democrat loses a close race in a Republican-leaning area.
Minneapolis Police
This story is really disturbing. They need to clean the fucking house in Minneapolis PD, and if that means firing everyone and rebuilding it because the police can't be held accountable for lying on reports and falsifying evidence, so be it.

I also hope Jaleel Stallings sues TFG for defamation for calling him a "would-be cop killer".
Idea for gun control
Let's make it illegal to sell assault rifles and ammo, and if anyone tries to sell, anyone can report them for a $10,000 award which comes from a fine on the person selling the ammo or weapon.
I mean, we are not technically making it illegal to own a firearm.
With all these Trump/Conservative rallies....
I feel like we need something to celebrate Joe Biden's victory and to draw some attention away from the liars. Hate to see the lie get propagated by these morons (or morons, as they would spell it).
I am not sure if anyone has drawn this parallel....
But isn't Trump's claim that he deserves credit for the Covid vaccine basically the same as Al Gore taking credit for helping fund early research into the internet? Of course, Gore's claim got lambasted while Trump gets a free ride from the MSM.
Are some of our assumptions about the 2020 Election in WI correct?
Specifically, I am referring to a narrative that says that increases to Trump support in rural areas was offset by increases in Biden support in the Milwaukee & Madison metropolitan areas.
The data I am looking at is from the NYT: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/upshot/2020-election-map.html
This map allows you to see the total votes in 2020, but it also shows shifts from 2016.
The interesting thing I am seeing when I look at the shift (Change from 2016) map is that while some rural areas shifted more red (Republican), there were also a lot of areas in in northern and western WI that shifted to the Democrats, even if they overall were heavily Republican.
The other interesting thing was that there was a shift to the Republicans from within the City of Milwaukee, City of Racine, and City of Kenosha. This seems in line with the national numbers that did show a shift in Black and Hispanic support toward Trump in 2020. Do you think this was a backlash to the unrest due to George Floyd/Jacob Blake, decreases in Democratic turnout in these areas, and/or the effects of misinformation on social media? Or maybe something else I am not considering?
Something that has bothered me since watching Richard Engel's show on the Capitol insurrection
One of the things that has bothered me (outside of the fact we had an attempted coup and justice has been slow IMO) is how few cops there were. I know that it has been reported that there was not enough, but I still thought they had 2,000 officers. While I can understand that there was not enough to defend the perimeter, I would think they would have been able to defend the choke/access points much better than what they did (and I am not trying to take away from those that did try to fight the insurrectionist/traitors - it just seems there was a lack of support).
Anyone else have any thoughts?
ADDED: also, what about the other 3 insurrectionists that were killed. I have not heard as much about the circumstances that they were killed (ie were they armed and/or did they get too close to Pence/Schumer/Pelosi)
What the F is "Legislative Fatigue"
Is that when Republicans have to get off their asses and actually have to do something besides talking to the media or social media. I won't even get into what Matt Gaetz does when he probably should be working.
Has anyone trolled the Q-Anon folks today.....
With a fake story of Trump returning to WH and all of the Democratic politicians being arrested?
You know, because its April 1.
So is FL the sex trafficking capital of the United States or something?
Seems a lot of these guys make their homes in FL.
