Just curious. She's getting mine later today.

would we end up dead with a very clean virus?

I've said here before that I have an old out-of-town friend who's a Republican. Mostly, we avoid talking politics and just focus on common interests and the adventure of growing older by the day. But every now and then he sends me a clip or a link about something political, and recently it was about Covid-19 and how the Democrats this-or-that. I sent back a reply telling him that I detested the fact that an international tragedy is getting politicized, and that people seem more interested in talking about "the other side" than about the pandemic itself and what's being done about it -- and especially about how the MSM sells a lot more ad time talking about the cases and the deaths than about how many people have recovered.
It seems to be getting harder and harder to talk about anything without dragging "the other side'" in. Geez, a bird pooped on my windshield. If I'm a Democrat, it's the Republicans' fault, and if I were a Republican, it'd be the Democrats' fault.
Are we really getting to the point where everything is about politics? I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to talk to people any more about anything besides the weather and simplistic stuff. Even chatting about wearing a mask of not turns into politics.
And yeah, I know... I hang out in a political chat room.

Given that older people seem to be more in danger of dying from Covid-19, and given his (its?) refusal to take action and listen to experts, and his (its?) politicizing a worldwide tragedy, and all this bullshit about dying for the economy, is it remotely possible that he (it) deliberately wants to eliminate a specific segment of the population?
I know this goes way beyond tin-hat time, but it does make me wonder.
Ironically, given the status quo, it would seem that a good chunk of the people who will die are his own supporters who refuse to take the precautions suggested by medical experts.

I'm looking to make three files (under a meg each) available to people who want to use them. This is a one-time thing, the files are free, and there's no registration needed. Basically, "if you want to use the files, you can download them here." I know about Dropbox and a couple of others, but wanted to see if you folks have other suggestions or favorite sites.

I haven't heard these assholes speak about the pandemic, but I would love it if somebody would go after them and Fox for providing medical opinions without a license.

This headline is from one of my local outlets, but it really makes me wonder, as in seriously...
Does Fox really have that low an opinion of their viewers that they think their viewers will really accept this?
Hey, why don't we ask Jerry Springer next?

He's not incompetent. He would be if he were just making mistake after mistake while trying to get something done. This person is deliberately fucking things up, thinking only of himself, refusing to listen, and showing absolutely no feelings for the nation he's supposed to be leading.
In my book, that's not incompetence -- it's just being a fucking prick.

Okay, this isn't about whether a sitting president (so to speak) can be indicted, or government immunity, or whether it could happen now, or any of that stuff. That's all a separate conversation. We don't need to go there.
My question is, can a person who has acted in the manner POtuS did, and given what we're finding out he knew ahead of time, be charged with gross criminal negligence?
According to a brief piece in Wikipedia, "Criminal negligence becomes "gross" when the failure to foresee involves a "wanton disregard for human life."
So what do you lawyers here think? Does gross criminal negligence apply here?

POtuS is getting all the attention, while this little f*ing turdbucket is totally out of sight? He needs to be called out and shamed too.
MSM, ARE YOU LISTENING???????????????????
