Sheesh!

I just turned on my TV this morning and Rudolph's Shiny New Year is on. I've never seen it. Let me just say, this LSD trip of a holiday show is CA-REE-PEE!!! thanks mom for keeping this nightmare away from me as a child.

I just voted.

In Texas. But i never trust my vote is being counted because i live here. Also, I'm worried they will try some shenanigans because i had to initial next to my name because "your middle name isn't on your registration" even though the rest of my name as well as my address matches my drivers license!!! Dear lord, people!!!! I guess we'll see...

Wow. Just wow.

just finished watching the cnn town hall with beto. Listening to him speak brings tears to my eyes. I'm a 42 year old man, but there is just something about him. It's Obamaesque. There is hope for our future. Not just in Texas, but i believe nationwide. I know he said he has no plans for running for prez, but i believe it's inevitable. Right now, i feel damn proud to be a Texan. It's been a long time since I've been able to say that.

I have this image

of Ernie McCracken (Bill Murray's character from Kingpin) celebrating after defeating Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson's character), and I am convinced that is how trump will react if the repukes keep both the house and Senate this November. That thought alone is enough to motivate me to vote early. Ugh, i hope we at least get 250 house seats.

USA Today

has an article about "The Democratic Party Left Me Behind". The few lines i read go on to say, "and I'm not the only one." Something else about blah, blah, hatred from the left, blah blah. The bots have infected some staff writer apparently. I hope normal people aren't stupid enough to believe this horseshit.

All i can say about these horrific times we find ourselves in

is that once this boil on America's ass is lanced, beer industry stock is going to plummet just based on the piles of money i won't be spending on their products anymore. Come on liver, stay with me! Breathe! You're gonna make it! I need you buddy!

I've lived with something for a while now.

I assume it's some type of anxiety. Every day that i go to work i feel extremely sick to my stomach and my brain starts worrying about what's going to happen. I know it has to do with the thought of interacting with customers. Unfortunately, i work in retail, so you see the problem here. This has gone on for 20+ years. I'm 42! I shouldn't feel like this. Somehow, I've managed to fake my way into management with every company I've worked for. I'm not a social person and am very introverted so it takes a lot of energy to interact. My wife says i should look into medication, but i would like to not go that route. I've thought about seeing someone about this, but still concerned about being prescribed medication. What would actually help is not having a job in retail. Anyway, just wondering if anyone who has had this type of anxiety could recommend any non-prescription ways to overcome it. Thanks for listening!
