"The lunatic is in the hall" from Brain Damage, Pink Floyd

is it political?

Trump fired every single member of his HIV/AIDS council without telling them why.

The irony of him blaming the USPS for not charging enough - and then using FedEx...

I would bet that he didn’t write the letter himself either.

If it wasn't scrawled in crayon, I'll bet you're right.

I’ll go further. This is a form of genocide. If he does this to one section of society, he will do it to others. Imagine what he would do if he had total power. I can imagine him ordering the killing of people he doesn’t like or fears - disabled, elderly, poor...

He and the GOP are trying to kill the elderly, poor, disabled, etc through what they have done already to healthcare, what they will do in the future to social safety nets. It will be a Holocaust without Directly killing anyone.

Wonderful. I fully expect my HIV meds to be cancelled by Medicaid. Maybe I should start packing for the concentration camps.

This is Pence. Wake up.

Deliberately harming people with HIV and making it harder to address the epidemic? That's got Pence written all over it. He did it in Indiana, after all.

It’s what these religious fucks did in the 80’s. They killed my friend. He would be alive today if they had made the drugs available and insurance companies didn’t End coverage on AIDS patients. This was a deliberate move by rich conservatives to kill gays.

"Warning: Donald Trump Is Americas Slobodan Milosević" By John R. Schindler 12/27/17

A Worthy Read:

From the article by John Schindler:

Warning: Donald Trump Is America’s Slobodan Milošević

By John R. Schindler • 12/27/17

Milošević ruined Serbia just like he ruined most of Yugoslavia, inflicting political, social, and economic wounds that show few signs of healing even now.
In truth, he never cared about Serbs, he merely wanted power.
Cynically donning the cloak of nationalism, he fooled Serbs by telling them what they wanted to hear:
I will protect you. I will defend Serbdom.
I will restore prosperity. None of it was true.
His plan to Make Serbia Great Again was nothing but a charade.

Once he achieved power, Milošević really didn’t know what to do; he was better at fiery rhetoric than reality.
As a result, Milošević improvised crisis after crisis and left behind a broken and impoverished Serbia, smaller and weaker than it was before the First World War.

By the time Serbs figured out they had been conned, it was too late; the country was already wrecked, and Milošević managed to hold on until the fall of 2000, thanks to his control of the media and the police, enriching his family and his hangers-on every step of the way.
That he was eventually extradited to The Hague to face justice seems inadequate compared to the devastation which Slobodan Milošević left in his wake.

You can understand the remarkable rise of Donald Trump in 2015-16 by simply exchanging “Serbian nationalism” for “white nationalism”: the parallels are eerie and disturbing. ...

President Vladimir Putin is using the threat of additional U.S. sanctions to encourage wealthy Russians to repatriate some of their overseas assets, which exceed $1 trillion by one estimate.

Putin told lawmakers late Monday that a new capital amnesty program was needed “given the foreign restrictions, which instead of lessening are now worsening,” ..MORE

2016 - "Google has the ability to drive millions of votes to a candidate with no one the wiser"

Considering ALPHABET Exec is stepping down, Eric Garland twitter presents this conversation & an Article from Politico 2016

How Google Could Rig the 2016 Election

Google has the ability to drive millions of votes to a candidate with no one the wiser.
By ROBERT EPSTEIN August 19, 2015

America’s next president could be eased into office not just by TV ads or speeches, but by Google’s secret decisions, and no one—except for me and perhaps a few other obscure researchers—would know how this was accomplished.

Research I have been directing in recent years suggests that Google, Inc., has amassed far more power to control elections—indeed, to control a wide variety of opinions and beliefs—than any company in history has ever had.

Google’s search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more—up to 80 percent in some demographic groups—with virtually no one knowing they are being manipulated,
