About Me

I am a Brit. I am a working class child of the troubles in Belfast who now lives a life of privilege. I am an anti-racist, progressive monster for truth. If I fail in being that monster, call me out....

So a Republican judge dismisses County DA in the Derek Chauvin murder of George Floyd

The fix is in. Apparently they were 'sloppy' in gathering evidence because they went to see medical examiners without having independent witnesses present. Because of course they do that in their normal duties. Get the fuck out of here. They are playing the white supremacist game right now. I wonder who the new DA will be? Hhhhmmm. It is just right in your face ugly at this point.

Rallygoer: "Because there's no COVID. It's a fake pandemic. Created to destroy the USofA''👀

https://twitter.com/therecount/status/1304395448229212160
From Trump's rally in Freeland, MI, last night:

CNN's Jim Acosta: "Why are you not wearing your mask?"

Rallygoer: "Because there's no COVID. It's a fake pandemic. Created to destroy the United States of America."

It gets even worse.

The party (Trump) told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. (George Orwell, Big Brother) And oh boy the cultists have done this hook, line and sinker, denying a pandemic is pretty special with 200,000 dead, just because they worship at the altar of the Fuckwit in Chief... one would almost feel sorry for them if they weren't such racist fascist hate filled wankers.

TRUE American Carnage: Cover for TIME Magazine

[link:https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/9/10/1976578/-TRUE-American-Carnage-My-cover-for-TIME-Magazine|]

This is the first time since Sept, 2001, that TIME magazine has featured a black border… and the second time ever in the history of the publication.

Gut wrenching.

Placing bets if anything of our constitution as we understand it will be left at the end of this...

Letter to The Times today

Employees have protections in the UK, they cannot be compelled to break the law by their employer. Especially when the employer is the state (and after the state has recognised that it is breaking the law). I suppose the only question is are there enough centrist grandees with the courage to stand up and vote with Labour and the other parties to STOP this bill in its tracks? Because if not, not only will we lose any credibility we have left on the world stage, but we should start placing bets if anything of our constitution as we understand it will be left by the time we get to kick these law breakers out of office...

I doubt it it is much of a conundrum for them...

We all know that they are racist, they know that we know they are racist, but when we call them out on their racism, they call us racist, because they know that being racist is a truly awful thing to be - but they enjoy the power and the spite and the hate that forms the bedrock of racism and racist behaviour so much that they will tolerate having their racism being called out. Being a racist is much fun for these racists.

Also in one I prepared earlier...

See what I did there! Interchangeable hater labels all fit, Oh my!

Donald Trump compares himself to Winston Churchill as he cites British wartime spirit as reason...

... he downplayed coronavirus

Likening himself to Winston Churchill, the US president added: "When Hitler was bombing, I don't know if you know this, when Hitler was bombing London, Churchill, great leader, would oftentimes go to a roof in London and speak.

"And he always spoke with calmness. He said we have to show calmness. No, we did it the right way and we've done a job like nobody."

Seriously, that analogy makes no sense. I mean maybe if Churchill was saying to Brits everyday that they should ignore the evidence of their bombed out houses, that Germany was not bombing the shit out of them and one day it would just all disappear. Heh. Of course they are both disgustingly racist white supremacists, so they do have that in common. But other than that, not so much.

It is not just that the neo Nazi's proudly support Trump...

Graphic mine

...it is that Trump proudly takes the support. Anyone who is OK with this is telling the rest of us who they are, they may as well be flying the swastika themselves, although to be fair they do promote the 21st Century version of the swastika everytime they put those stupid MAGA hats on their stupid racist nasty heads.

Maybe one good thing will come out of hellscape that is UK PLC 2020

At this point we are pretty much powerless in how this far right nightmare government we are suffering through plays hard Brexit ball to the point of destruction. So, I think we need to cling onto some positives in this time of utter shitness. We are already witness to the utter incompetence of the this administration in handling the pandemic and there is nothing to suggest that they will be any less incompetent when it comes to handling Brexit, so it is little wonder that they are trashing our reputation internationally and leading us to crashing out without that ‘oven ready deal’ Boris boasted about in the before times.

I think they believe that they can hide the economic shock of no deal in the downturn cause Covid. However, if we end up trading on WTO rules in the New Year a few things seem certain. Much of the country will be in some form of lockdown, some sectors will still be struggling to survive, there will be a second round of job losses in the millions – this time in manufacturing and export industries – coupled with increasing food prices on at least 65% of the food we consume, chaos at ferry ports, acute shortages of medication, austerity back in play alongside rising taxes to try and bridge the 2020 spend. 2021 has the potential to make 2020 feel like a walk in the park. Now here is where there is a bright side.

1. There is no way that Boris Johnson will still be Prime Minister a year from now if the popularity of the party continues to crater – which will indeed be the case if no deal becomes the new normal. And after the utter shit show and the blatant power grabs from number 10, maybe we will see a shift back to the centre in the choice of new leader? That would certainly be a positive.

2. There is no way that the incompetent sycophantic morons who hold the great offices of state will be able to lead the nation is such a time of chaos. They just are not able enough to do so. Which means even though the general election seems extremely far away it is not far enough away for them to turn this around, certainly if we have a further self-inflicted economic shock of no deal. Unfortunately many vulnerable people are going to be hurt over the next few years, but I do think that this means the Tories are going to be sent packing to the politic hinterlands, possibly for a generation, the next time we get to vote…

Clinging onto positives like our lives depend on it… cause they just might!

'I didn't want to create a panic'

200,000 dead. I wonder how many of them were MAGA who believed his bollocks. Mass Murderer in Chief didn't want to create a panic? What a load of bollocks and looking at America 2020 the hot take for me is some of America is not panicking enough at this point...

Almost 200,000 lives lost and he cares not one jot. He cares only about his power and will do and say anything to retain it.

Yet another week when all of the ironies died, again.

At Prime Ministers Questions today in Parliament BoJo said 'We expect everybody in this country to obey the law' when talking about the new Covid lockdown measures being imposed in England. This in the same week Brandon Lewis, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland said to the House "Yes, this does break international law in a very specific and limited way" when talking about these far right wankers in charge of us ripping up the EU Withdrawal Bill, and breaching an international treaty in the process.

They are shocking. Law and order for the little people, not when you are an english nationalist at the top of the greasy pole - the you can do what the hell you want and break any law you want, irrespective of the damage it does to the rest of us.
