About Me

I am a Brit. I am a working class child of the troubles in Belfast who now lives a life of privilege. I am an anti-racist, progressive monster for truth. If I fail in being that monster, call me out....

.....Annapolis survivor drops live F-bomb in CNN interview

San Felice says she’s still making sense of the tragedy but knows she’ll want to advocate for policy change.

“I don’t know what I want right now but I’m gonna need more than a couple days of news coverage and thoughts and prayers…thanks for your prayers but I couldn’t give a f*ck about them if there’s nothing else,” she told the unfazed CNN host.

US Supreme Court's Latest Move Could Protect Trump From State Prosecutions

Americans furious with President Donald Trump's possibly criminal acts have taken solace in the fact that should the Mueller investigation lead to federal prosecution but fail, state attorneys general could prosecute him.
Also, should President Trump decide to pardon those involved in illegal acts, say, for example, colluding with Russia, or money laundering, he can only pardon them for federal crimes – they can still be prosecuted under state laws.

Thursday morning the U.S. Supreme Court announced it is taking up a case involving double jeopardy. In short, if the plaintiff is successful, it would no longer be legal for someone to be prosecuted by a state if the federal government has already tried – or pardoned – them.

Who will be to blame if Aunt Lydia comes a knockin'

As America seems to possibly be on the brink of a possible descent into a form of theocratic dictatorship who will be to blame?

Of course, the right wing arseholes who are running in that direction at indecent speed - that goes without saying

However they are not the only ones with hands covered in blood - I can think of a few....

So, who will be to blame if Aunt Lydia becomes reality?

Women plan 'civil disobedience' action in Washington against Trump

Women activists are planning a “mass civil disobedience” act in the U.S. capital on Thursday ahead of weekend protests across the country against the Trump administration’s immigration policy.

Women’s March, a movement that began when President Donald Trump was inaugurated on Jan. 21, 2017, then spread internationally, has called on women to risk arrest at Thursday’s protest.

“We are calling for all women to join us for a mass civil disobedience in DC on Thursday, 6/28, to demand this administration stop criminalizing undocumented immigrants and tearing children away from their parents,” Women’s March said on Twitter.

I think we are going to see much more of this in the coming months. I will be doing my part when Trump comes to London

Civility is soooo last year

Civility only works if everyone is playing by the same set of rules and has the same common core of human decency. Civility NEVER works with Nazi's. They take your civility and abuse you as much as they can until you wrestle power away from them again.

New RULE...

Although an excellent idea - not sure the fascists that currently occupy the Republican party and the White House will agree.
