I hate most of what comes out of his mouth. His statement's on police brutality are so conflicted. "I LOVE all cops. There are some people who should not be cops". He spent most of his time making excuses for the brutality.

Does anyone else LOATHE the "Sling" commercial?

Just a question...and I know this will never happen...

But...what would happen if the Real President Obama were to lay down(or sit in) with the teens in protest of school shootings?
Would he be arrested? Would he be ignored? Would it be a distraction?
Would it be beneficial or make things worse (although, I don't know how they could get much worse)?

The chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is calling for former Secretary of State John Kerry to be the very first person ever arrested under a constitutionally dubious 1799 law.

Congressman Devin Nunes (R-CA) made his demand to imprison the former Massachusetts Democrat under the Logan Act, which could theoretically result in three year in federal prison.

The allegations followed a new Boston Globe report on former Secretary of State Kerry working to save the Iran nuclear deal.

If so, we should be up in arms over this BULLSHIT.

It saddens me so much...with some anger...

to see all the FB post HATE for the last REAL POTUS we had.
I can't figure out if it is because of his color, his political affiliation, his intelligence or all three.

I am in a situation where the use of FB is necessary for my livelihood so, unlike 2 years ago, I can't just "not go there".

I see the pure hatred every day from otherwise smart, nice and normal people. It's only when it comes to politics when this absolute stupidity shows its ugly face.

I don't expect any answers here. To be honest, I am just happy that there is a place like DU where I (we) can vent about stuff like this.

There, the sadness and anger didn't go away, but I feel better now.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Alabama Power Co. customers will see slightly lower power bills because of a federal tax cut given to utilities.

The Alabama Public Service Commission on Tuesday discussed the utility giant's plans to pass the savings on to consumers in the form of a bill credit. Commissioners approved a number of related measures.

Alabama Power spokesman Michael Sznajderman said the typical residential customer, who uses 1,000 kilowatt hours each month, will see their bill decrease by $9 per month beginning in July.

Similar rate cuts are taking place across the country as companies and regulators discuss what to do with the windfall. President Donald Trump in December signed a $1.5 trillion tax cut package into law that provides generous tax cuts for corporations, including utilities.
