Our Ancient Land

Our tribe ruled this land with soil so rich and true
We were many and had great strength
But the white man came and we left the good life behind
Our land was stolen
Our numbers grew small
Now we are but few

Come my people listen as I speak today
The ancient spirits have awakened a need in my heart and soul
They speak of the time when we will rule this land once again
They warn that we not go astray

Stand up and take back your rightful place
The Gods will guide you on your journey
The Sun, Rain, and Wind are at your command
The white man with his lies
Will not stop us on our quest
From taking back our land
