Stacey Abrams' Georgia Turning Blue

From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"If there is a single person who deserves the credit for Georgia’s moved to blue in the last four years, fellow Democrats believe it is Stacey Abrams."

As social media lauded the work Abrams has done, she shared the credit with others, especially the late Rep. John Lewis, whose home county in the 5th congressional district put Biden ahead in the tally early Friday.

Valerie Jarrett, the former adviser to President Barack Obama responded, “You forgot one.”

The article also gives credit to Killer Mike and his efforts to turn out the vote. I sure hope Stacey is given a prominent role in the Biden administration.

Biden leads in AZ, MI, WI and NV; that's enough to win

Those four put him at 270 or 271 if you count ME-2. That is without PA or GA. I looked at the NYT interactive map for those states and believe Biden's lead will only grow in all four of those states.

AP declared Biden the winner in AZ; why haven't the others outlets?

Usually the Associated Press is more conservative in its projections yet they seem to be the only outlet making a call:

The NYT map shows that there are far more remaining votes to be counted in the more heavily populated counties voting Democratic than in the less populated red counties:

There is simply no way drumpf is going to make up the 100,000 plus vote difference. In fact, Biden's winning margin should grow.

If you're feeling worried check out the Lincoln Project feed

They to a person are all cool, calm and confident of a Biden victory.

NYT needle moves Georgia to tilt Biden

Rick Wilson: We're seeing the red mirage right now

Also said they called Ohio too early. They also pointed out that the election in 2004 wasn't called for Bush till the next day.

Lots of votes out in Ohio Democratic counties

Almost all the counties around the cities are around 50 percent in while many of the rural and red areas I looked at were in the 80 to 90 percent range.

At the NYT interactive map you can scroll over the counties and check the numbers:

"Did no one come to his birthday parties when he was a kid?"

Salient point about the plot: Whitmer is a woman who stood up to them

They tried to intimidate her with a show of force that included weapons of war and tactical gear at the capitol. They were enraged that she didn't give in on masks etc. the way other officials have in the past ever since the tea baggers raised their ugly heads. I don't think it's a coincidence that these animals chose a strong female as their main target.
