Agree 100%. Republicans may as well elect robots.

I've said for years that Republicans may as well run a bunch of robots of various colors and shapes for public office. Just vote for your favorite model. They all vote by the playbook of the plutocrats anyway, so why not save the public a bunch of money?

The right-wing think tanks would just keep them properly programmed and updated via USB cable.

Plus, all it would cost us would be to keep the batteries charged!

What the hell? Flying to see a ball game?

These guys are supposed to be the kings of fiscal austerity (no food stamps/fewer parks) but can - at will - fly anytime they want to ball games and private meetings? I would even question the secondary value of him going to Vegas.

I suspect that Republicans believe the term "public service" means the public is their service.

Another divide-and-conquer tactic!

I don't believe tRump wrote that tweet.

It's too coherent. Written by his minders, but with his approval.

Good thing Pence left the game and relieved the fans or that stench.

Thanks for sharing that history, perspective and viewpoint.

Very complex issues with highly diverse views across the populace.

Truth! Our media fears the right-wing.

They tippy-toe with anything against a right-winger, yet amplify the noise against a Dem (e.g. Hillary, 2016). They learned this, I think, from Rupert Murdoch and his trashy tabloids and Faux News, both here and in the UK.

Apparently, they fear repercussions from the huge mass of money controlled by the right around the globe.

You echo my sentiments exactly.

Raised in middle TN during Al Gore, Sr. years, 50s/60s era. Everything is now upside-down!

Don't even enjoy going home there anymore.

The real question is...

how did they ever rise to prominence? There's millions of nut cases in the US, but who the hell put such people in front of a microphone?

They're the ones that should be tarred and feathered.

So, what did Drumpf tweet that upset his blood-red apple cart?

Can't stand to go into Agent Orange's twitter feed, makes me ill - can someone summarize?

I trust Corker about as far as I could pick him up and throw him (not far - a coffee cup's a challenge this morning).

What I would like to know is....

where the hell are the voices of Puerto Rico's governor Rossello and Representative Gonzalez, speaking up about ongoing difficulties, as the mayor has?

When I look at their Twitter pages, all I see is a lot of pie in the sky photo ops, mostly of them - and mostly in meetings under squeaky clean conditions.

Why do these people white-wash and politicize a disaster?
