This shit would not be happening if more Dems/Progressives had voted in 2014 and 2016. Period.

While the Senate is very tough to take now because we have so many more seats to defend, the HOUSE will most likely be ours IF we VOTE, and the same with TONS of state and local races.

Mad? Upset? Depressed? Not happy? Then as Obama says, go VOTE. And take friends. And campaign for D candidates.

Or at least MOST LIKELY KEEP THE SENATE.

The odds of re-taking the Senate were ALWAYS very slim because we have SO many more seats to defend.

Kavanaugh ALWAYS had the votes. Period! This was NO surprise.

We can take the US House and state and local level seats ALL OVER THE MAP next month.

So enough of ANY dooming and glooming. We have GREAT opportunities.

The GOP "Kavanaugh Bounce" is just that. A short bounce. The ball comes back down. And our side ALSO has an ANGER bounce over Kavanaugh that will resonate especially in the US House races, and state and local races.

So, go knock doors, make calls, put up signs, talk to folks, and vote vote vote.

As Joy Reid said so well, it is a quick sugar high for them. They'll be over it in a week. We won't forget! Our anger was already HUGE. Now it is BIGGER and BADDER!


BUT, take it to the VOTING BOOTH! Go campaign for D's. Donate. Put up signs. Make calls. Knock on doors. Talk to friends and neighbors. And VOTE VOTE VOTE!

THIS is the god damned attitude every single Dem and Progressive Indy needs to have!! ENOUGH OF THE ULTRA-FAILED "MR. and MRS. NICE PERSON HIGH ROAD LOSER" mentality.

R's know how to get power, keep it, and USE it! Period! They do not give a flying shit about protests! They care about POWER.

WINNING IS EVERYTHING!!

Now, take the rage, take the anger, and take it to the campaign trail and the voting booth.

THIS is what needs to be inside the head of EVERY Dem/Progressive. We have a chance to essentially wipe out the GOP at every level next month. Let's do it!

And please, no bemoaning about rigged elections. We will have lawyers and polls watchers all over the place. Just go campaign for D candidates and VOTE VOTE VOTE. And take friends with you!

We need to take the rage over Trump, Kavanaugh, McConnell etc. to the voting booth. We need to win next month and take back the House, the Senate if we can, and R seats at every level everywhere.

Talking about impeachment only fires up the R base and makes them want to turn out. It only gives them a key issue to energize around.

Why do that? No one is going get removed from office without 2/3 of the Senate. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

So let's make calls, knock doors, put up signs, make donations, and talk about all the MANY issues we need to tell voters about to get Dems elected such as healthcare, higher wages, etc.

We need to WIN NEXT MONTH! Hate Trump? Hate Kavanaugh? Hate McConnell?

THEN LET'S BEAT THEM AT THE VOTING BOOTH!

This is no "victory" for Trump and the R's. They had the votes, period. And they were gonna confirm.

NOTHING can be done about Kav at this point. It's wasted energy. And if it wasn't Kav, it would have been some other right winger just as bad only without so much drinking and groping in his past.

WIN THE ELECTIONS IN NOVEMBER!! CAMPAIGN, DONATE, VOTE!! THAT IS WHERE EVERY OUNCE OF ENERGY MUST GO!!

I was out at 6am putting up campaign signs today, and I sent in two more small donations to D candidates. I plan to do more.

Take the anger to the voting booth, and bring a lot of family and friends who will vote the same way. For the DEMS!

WAY too many of our voters sat out in 2014 and 2016, allowed the R's to dominate at every level of government, and this is the shit sandwich we are now eating.

Republicans don't give a flying shit about protests. As far as changing policy, they are almost always a complete waste of time.

Dems/Progressives of every demographic and location need to stop protesting, stop bitching, and start VOTING.

The party needs to run strong candidates and have a strong messsage that people like and want to vote for.

Take the rage to the VOTING BOOTH! Take it to the streets knocking on doors, making calls, dropping literature, putting up signs, and making donations (even five dollars helps).
