An uncle of mine who is into genealogy gave me a printout showing that the President and I share the same great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather from my mother’s and his mother’s side. His name was Thomas Bloomfield (1617 - 1684). I have a printout of the family tree, but couldn’t manage to post it.
