But now the Medal of Freedom goes to football coaches who really haven't distinguished themselves except for a coaching career?

What new ground did Lou Holtz break? What act of bravery did he commit that enhanced the causes of freedom and justice in America?

Maybe I'm missing something he did? Did he jump into a river and save a drowning puppy?

Everything trump touches turns to shit, and he has totally cheapened the Medal of Freedom.

So, I drove by the early voting place here in Baton Rouge... the line was looooooooong in this mostly white, Republican neighborhood. But what I saw encouraged me: from what I saw at least a third of those in line were young people. And many African Americans, too.

I contrast that with what I usually see on election day here: youthful indifference. Where are the young people???? Well, this time they're showing up!

Now, I have no hope that Biden will win this beggar state (I love Louisiana, don't get me wrong, but truth is truth)... but if around the country there's this much enthusiasm and concern for their futures... as I'm now convinced there is.... Biden wins in a landslide.
