Facebook tells me that it soon will not support my Microsoft browser (Edge)

To which I say I Microsoft is more valuable to me than is Facebook.

Well, then, fuck off. I REALLY don't need Facebook.

It occurs to me that without the whistleblower Ukraine STILL would not have its aid

our Congress voted for them.

This is why we need term limits, folks.

If a Congressperson or Senator is limited by law to two or fewer terms he might actually find the gumption to do the right thing... i.e. protecting the country over himself.... instead of trying to hold on to a lifetime gig.

Pence, Pompeo, trump, dominionism

It's a sad fact of life that republicanism, though definitionally not religious, is in political manifestation almost identical to dominionism. The love of money above all else lends itself to the same methods of exploitation as does the belief that Jesus is coming to forgive all sins and clean up everything, anyway. Pence, Pompeo, trump... the first two believe that they're doing the commanded work, no matter the means, and the latter just wants the means, no matter what.

Sorry, folks... but we need to start teaching our children that certain notions are supreme nonsense and that they're killing us.
