I had called up my Republican Rep's office this AM

He put out a statement on FB & Twitter .. I guess he's been hearing from a bunch of his constituents

I apologise to MLK , Mahatma Gandhi , Mandela , Dalai Lama and all other great men

Who have asked us to rise beyond hatred.

Iam trying to but am faling badly at the overwhelming feel of hatred I feel for many Republicans now who in their overt support or muted non-response have thrown their lot with the darkest forces known to mankind.

I know I am supposed to hate the sin and not the sinner and all .. but right now I can't separate the two.

Looks like a shutdown is likely.. now that DACA deal has been blown to bits

Will voters blame Democrats despite being in the minority in both houses.

For me personally, I don't care about the blame as much as I do about the impact on people relying on federal checks in their mail.

Do we have a moral obligation to prevent shutdown?

It is amazing .. that how companies without really innovating , are able to capture enormous rents ..

Nothing in those tests are new .. what is new is a requirement that health insurance cover drug rehab .. this has led to a skyrocketing prices for testing given the number of drug addicts ..

So a measure meant to help addiction has turned in to a gold mine for drug testing ..

THIS IS WHY YOU NEED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE ..or at least single payer who can put these bloody leeches in their fucking places..
