What the Fucking Fuck !!! Trump is imposing 19% taxes on all Obamacare policies

This week the Trump administration managed to impose a massive tax increase on middle-income families beginning in 2018. You could be excused for missing this story if you were focusing instead on President Trump’s draconian budget or Republican efforts to take away health care from tens of millions of people. But, indeed, on Monday, the Trump Health Care Tax was born.

The new tax, 19 percent or more of premiums, will be added on top of the cost of policies purchased through the individual-market health insurance exchanges. It is a result of Trump’s decision to create as much chaos as possible in the health-care market — in this case by not committing to continue to reimburse billions of dollars of cost-sharing payments owed to insurers just as they set prices for next year. And the president couldn’t have been more clear about why he’s imposing this tax: He thinks disrupting the Affordable Care Act exchanges, which serve more than 12 million Americans, will force Democrats to agree to proposals in his budget and in the House health-care bill that would take coverage away from tens of millions.

I thought Republicans were anti-tax !!!!! What the hell is going on??

I think Macron is stupid

He may flipped off Trump and crushed his hand - but that would only be counter productive.

Trump is a small man with a big ego.

And he loves to take revenge more than anything else if he feels slighted.

There is a lot at stake ..not the least of which is the paris accord .. And the mature minds need to be aware of that when dealing with a thin skinned oaf with a lot of power to do damage.

So I am not cheering Macron's fucking with Trump.

We had a local Democratic Party Club picnic in my very Republican town in NJ

Just for reference - The last time we tried this a couple years ago - we had 4 people atttending it ( and 2 of them were running for town council) .

We had over 40 people - not counting small kids and dogs ( Hey - dogs are people too!!)

The atmosphere was carnival like, with lots of food, animated conversations and whole lot of energy !!

Also in attendance was Linda Webber. She is making a very serious run for congress to unseat Leonard Lance

(She was on the Joy Reid Show - you can watch her at the link below)

I am so excited and really think we are onto something big .. Go Dems !!

Anthony Weiner to Plead Guilty to Resolve Sexting Inquiry

Source: NY Times

Anthony D. Weiner, the former Democratic congressman whose “sexting” scandals ended his political career and embroiled him in a tumultuous F.B.I. investigation of Hillary Clinton before the election, is to appear in a federal courtroom in Manhattan on Friday to enter a guilty plea.

The information has not been made public but was related by two people who have been briefed on the matter and asked not to be identified.

Mr. Weiner will plead guilty to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor, pursuant to a plea agreement with the United States attorney’s office in Manhattan, one of the people said. Mr. Weiner surrendered to the F.B.I. early Friday morning.

sigh - his personal demons consumed him

Lets examine options facing R congressmen

Do they or Dont they support Impeaching Don the Con before 2018 Mid-terms

Pros of supporting

1) Get rid of the biggest distraction on earth as far as they go
2) Pence as Potus will enthuse Evangelicals
3) Focus on their agenda and get busy executing it.
4) Dampen Democratic groundswell ( which is mostly powered by anti Trump sentiment)

Cons of supporting

1) Don's Base will turn against them
2) Don will turn against them and will go after them in the 2020 elections
3) Democrats will be emboldened in the congress

I think based on this.. Don is on the fast track to setting the record for the shortest presidency ever.

SiriusXM is launching the Beatles Channel today and

I am actually envious of how the republicans have a lock on their base

Nothing fazes them.

We'd rip our leaders to shreds if there is even a hint of impropriety... I dont know if it is dislike of the poor minorities or practice of blind faith but couple republicans i know are loyal as ever to Trump and the party..

How do they manage to pull this off???

.. My 'friend' (actually we went to college together .. And somewhere along the way he morphed into a wacko) thinks the whole thing is a setup by Obama holdovers in the administration ..

No wonder then that Ed Munster and McTurtle are shrugging their shoulders at the whole thing. They are SO not worried.

May be the top line in the daily presidential briefing should be

"There is severe risk to US Interests because a crazy man with access to US intelligence - Requesting permission to take out threat"

Is it me ..or are the new LED head lamps awefully blindingly bright?

So many cars have these super bright head lights .. I thought they had their high beams on and tried to signal them ..and they responded by momentarily blinding me with their high beams.

Are the LED lamps an issue or do I have to see me eye doctor?

Part of a reason why Hillary lost is the proliferation of unsubstantiated news.

So it saddens me to see nice folks on DU fall for it.

We must resist click bait and rumor mill sources especially when the fiction being peddled fits our fantasies.
