how much do we endure before we snap?

The feelings of Insult and "FUCK YOU" that republicans keep heaping on us through their actions is becoming unbearable.

I am feeling as miserable as I did in November 2016.

I cant bear to watch news .. SCOTUS will be packed with folks partial to Trump. We have one card left to play - Bob Mueller . And I am losing hope even with that given how partisan the SCOTUS has become.

We are well and truly fucked.

Are any of you seeing angry and irritable Trump supporters at work?

I ran into a couple, in NYC no less, who are livid that the media is being cruel to Trump.

I sense visceral anger in them towards the media -- I really wish I could make them direct that anger towards Trump and GOP. Just needs a shift of perspective.

We'll get there.

So I headed over to freeperville hoping see dissapointment in shitler caving

But all I saw were high fives , saying this was a genius 47D chess move.

Go figure!

It all makes sense now

Forget Tax Cuts. Trump Wants to Rally the G.O.P. Base Over Immigration

WASHINGTON — As Republicans try to keep their midterm election strategy focused on the economy, tax cuts and falling unemployment, President Trump sent his clearest signal yet on Monday that he intends to make divisive, racially charged issues like immigration central going into the campaign season.

Facing bipartisan criticism over his administration’s family separation practice on the border, Mr. Trump renewed the sort of bald and demagogic attacks on undocumented immigrants that worked well for him politically in his 2016 presidential campaign. He inveighed against “the death and destruction that’s been caused by people coming into this country” and vowed that “the United States will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding facility.”

The whole thing is GOTV strategy ..Trump is dominating the news cycle with the shock and awe .. And he is betting that shock value will recede while energizing his racist base.

I hope the bastard is sent off in chains to Hague.

What about the frontline DHS folks?

Are they obligated to carry out the request to separate kids from parents.

Arent they traumatized by their own actions?

I hope dream act psses

I hope the supreme court decision on Ohio Voter purge backfires

I hope the fear of being struck off the voter list brings everyone of the democratic voters to the polling booth.

We need to use this as a GOTV tactic

No wonder despite the raise in ticket prices ..NJ transit sucks ass

http://www.nj.com/traffic/index.ssf/2018/06/who_were_nj_transits_top_overtime_earners_in_2017.html

NJ Transit spent $165.9 million on overtime in 2017, an increase of $14.6 million over 2016.

For some transit employees, the overtime significantly increased their paycheck.

Almost 2,500 employees individually earned at least $25,000 in overtime, according to NJ Transit salary records obtained through an Open Public Records Act request.

More than 9,400 employees took home some form of overtime with the smallest overtime check totaling $5.58. Of the top 25 overtime earners last year, eight employees made over $100,000 in overtime. Overtime for eleven employees was higher than their base salary.

Using overtime is a common practice in the transit industry to avoid having to provide benefits to new additional full-time employees, said Nancy Snyder, an NJ Transit spokeswoman.

I think of pardon powers like I do a Veto.

A pardon is in effect a veto over a judicial action. I cant believe that the only limit from a president abusing his pardon powers has to come from the legislative ( in the form of impeachment)

Trump cannot pardon himself .

I think the next Congress should make this explicit through an amendment.. President should not be able to pardon himself , any of his family , friends , donors or political appointees.
