I currently reside in Metro Atlanta and not working so was looking for some thought provoking conversation to spend time perusing as well as factual (i.e., non-"fake news" forums with accurate news updates. I just recently stumbled upon this site from a HuffingtonPost comment. Glad I did and enjoying the dialogue and enormous info provided. I have made this site my first read daily (also my last check each night).

Jon Ossoff’s special election is the FIRST competitive Congressional race of the Trump era. Ossoff is leading 31.7% to 24.9% (nearest competitor); no others broke the 20% mark; 17.6 are undecided. Ossoff is running in a red district, but one where Trump struggled last year with only a single point win (48-47).

Ossoff is running full steam ahead to fill Tom Price's seat (Trump’s appointee as secretary of Health and Human Services). He has the full support of Congressmen John Lewis and Hank Johnson, as well as Rachael Maddow, to name a few. He's runnining in an 18-person field and doing extremely well.

This Special Election will be held on April 18. All eyes are on Georgia. So, please support a Jon Ossoff win and we can replace Trump's anti-Obamacare hatchet man with a Democrat in Congress.
