Even with Google it's hard to find the offending Biden quote itself

but it's real easy to find what other Democrats are saying about how offensive it was. Biden was speaking about maintaining civility with people who he "didn't agree (with) on much of anything" but all I would know without reading the quote myself is that he was "waxing nostalgic about segregationists". I truly hope the Democrats don't do to each other what the Republicans are so good at doing to the Democrats.

I'd really like to see this poll taken:

Trump vs. "Anyone else"

Democrats should not even consider the 35% of America that is batshit crazy.

If you ignore them 75% of who's left want Trump impeached. 80% will never vote for him in 2020. Nearly everyone not in the 35% want Roe vs. Wade to stay law. Nearly all want sensible gun control, action on climate change and higher taxes for the rich and for corporations. If they do it right Democrats could, and should, own the 65% of America that is sane. The Repubs have made it Us vs. Them in America. The Dems should embrace this. There are more of Us.

Mueller: "If I can't say something nice about Trump I won't say anything at all".

I don't think that war with Iran will unite this country under this president.

Nothing he has done has hurt his approval rating. And nothing he does will improve it either. His base will continue their adoration. The rest of the country will see through the charade. The Repubs all ready give him everything he wants. The Dems never will. It will change little except the number of human beings killed in the world because of the actions of this country.

If the POTUS in 2021 is a Republican a safe and legal abortion will be out of reach

to a majority of women in America by the end of his term. Six weeks will be the limit in most states. Crossing state lines to seek an abortion will be illegal. No insurance company will be allowed to cover the procedure. The Supreme court will uphold all of this.

The Democrats should call for an investigation into the start of the Russia investigation.

They should welcome it. Insist on it. Subpoena all involved. Investigate everything from its beginnings up to where it is today. And release everything found to the public that can be legally released. It's exactly what the Republicans don't really want.

So what if AG Barr gave Trump a heads up on the investigation.

It's not like Ivanka met him on a tarmac and talked about their kids.

His son said "I love it" when he thought he would be given something by RUSSIANS.

They tried to get a back channel with through the RUSSIAN EMBASSY. His campaign people traded info with RUSSIANS.

How does he get away with calling the investigation of these things TREASON?

I fear the primaries will not give us the best candidate.

Instead it will give us the candidate who is the most different from the rest. Votes will spread among similar- meaning more mainstream and therefore more electable- candidates, in effect canceling each other out. This will hand victories to the more extreme and less electable who are running. I fear we are going to end up with someone who will lose to Trump in all the wrong places, giving him another electoral win. In the Republican primaries votes went to Trump or to one of the other guys. It was, from the beginning Trump alone against all the others. That's how he won the nomination- being the "different from all the rest". Bernie Sanders could do the same thing...And then lose to Trump in 2020.
