Trump campaign officials suggested getting 'someone low level' to communicate with Russians
The detail was included in a footnote in newly unsealed charge against George Papadopoulos, who worked on the Trump campaign as a foreign-policy adviser. Papadopoulos pleaded guilty earlier this month to making false statements to the FBI about his interactions with Russia.
In May 2016, Papadopoulos said in an email to someone described as a high-ranking campaign official that his contacts in Russia wanted to meet with Trump, the court document says.
"Russia has been eager to meet Mr. Trump for quite sometime and have been reaching out to me to discuss," he wrote to the official, who then forwarded the email to another campaign official along with the request that they send a low-level staffer.
"Lets discuss. We need someone to communicate that DT is not doing these trips," the official said, referring to Trump. "It should be someone low level in the campaign so as not to send any signal."

Republican Judiciary chairman: Trump should let Mueller do his job
Source: The Hill
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is urging President Trump to not interfere with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation after Paul Manafort, Trump's former campaign chairman, was charged on Monday.
"The president should let the special counsel do his job," Grassley, the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, told reporters on Capitol Hill.
Spokesmen for Grassley didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
Manafort has been charged with 12 counts including conspiracy against the United States, according to the special counsel's office. Manaforts former business partner and protegé, Rick Gates, who was ousted from the pro-Trump group America First Policies in April, has also been charged.

FBI investigating Whitefish deal: report
Source: The Hill
The FBI is reportedly investigating the $300 million contract awarded to Whitefish Energy to repair Puerto Rico's electrical grid in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
People familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal that FBI agents from the San Juan field office are examining the deal and how Whitefish and the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) came to the agreement.
The report comes after Puerto Rico's state-run electric utility said Sunday it had accepted the governor's request to immediately cancel its contract with Whitefish, a small Montana-based energy firm headquartered in Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke's hometown.

One way to tell that the Trumptards are worried about something
I have noticed a strange phenomenon anytime a major story hits that is clearly bad news for Cheeto McSmalldick. His supporters, seem to flood the election betting markets to prop up his reelection odd numbers. Its a very strange way to bury their heads in the sand but it seems to happen without fail. However, it has been my way to gauge just how worried they are. Here is a rough scale of republican freak-out that I have come up with:
+0.2%=Trump just sent out a tweet where is misspelled the word "America"
+0.5%=Trump is stranded in the middle of a golf course for 8.5 hours because his golf cart broke down
+1%=Trump threatens to start a trade war with mexico because Chipolte screwed up his order
+1.5%=Trump accidentally called the president of China "daddy"on live TV
+2.0=Trump left a copy of the nuclear codes in a KFC
+2.5=Trump is seen wandering around DC in an open bathrobe mumbling about lizard people
+3.0=Trump is arrested by Kansas City police after exposing himself to University of Missouri sorority members.
The Mueller indictments has earned us about a 1.7% increase. That is a moderate to severe trump fuck up. Seriously, if you ever see Trump's reelection odd shoot up on one these sites by like 3.5 or 4 points, just load up your shotgun and get to the nearest fallout shelter because the apocalypse is about to start.
