I personally respect the fact that there may be local religious traditions, etc., but for anyone who values the advancement of human beings, you simply don't participate in local religious traditions that discriminate and denigrate any category of people. Until we as a race decide that people have more value than superstition, nothing will ever change. Imagine how much more culturally and scientifically advanced we would be as a race if we had done without the thousands of years we have suffered locked in the chains of religious darkness.
