Yesterday's FB mystery solved.

https://www.alternet.org/2020/03/the-start-of-the-machine-learning-going-nuts-facebooks-system-is-wrongly-blocked-legitimate-news-articles-about-coronavirus-pandemic/

Facebook says my post violates their community standards, and blocked it.

Can anyone help me understand? It’s the 2018 video from The Independent, wherein Trump explains why he cut the pandemic team. FB says it’s spam.

A few months ago, I met a young filmmaker named Yvan Iturriaga.

The other day, it came to my attention that he’s working on a short film project. I’m sharing it here because it asks an existential question that becomes more relevant every day for We the People under the Trumpian regime. That is, “What will you do when the **it hits the fan?”

Yvan has been documenting the Chilean people’s reaction to three decades of oppression under a dictator. The people finally decided enough was enough, and took to the streets over a seemingly minor “last straw.” The military was called in to quell the demonstrations.

Violence against the citizens ensued, and the elites headed for more pleasant locations till things settled down. Based on this OP, things haven’t settled down. A young club singer from Thailand was offered a way out, but her empathy and compassion for the Chilean people required her to face that existential question.

Yvan’s Kickstarter video is less than 4 minutes long. I hope you’ll find it as compelling as I did.

As a relatively new, low-post DU member, I really appreciate the Valentine hearts.

Having a secret admirer is a warm and cozy feeling. Thank you for making me feel welcome in the neighborhood—I like you just the way you are, too!

Did anyone hear the Danielle Moodie Mills rant on Stephanie Miller?

It played about half an hour ago, and I want to find it so I can hear it again and share it. Unfortunately, I can’t find it anywhere. Help?

Can't get enough of this headline? Feast your eyes.

How Major Newspaper Front Pages Covered The Historic Impeachment Vote

Looking for a ride to tomorrow's impeachment event at Ron Johnson's office.

Is anyone with room for one more traveling from Milwaukee’s North Shore area?

Seasons Greetings, minus diversity.
