This is not my idea. Saw something like this on the net.

The idea is to write or call all your elected officials, especially the House and Senate, and ask them to loudly and publicly INVITE Russian diplomats, bureaucrats, and others to seek diplomatic protection, to defect, and to denounce Putin's evil frikking murderous war on Ukraine.

Then encourage friends and colleagues to do the same. Build up a wave of INVITATIONS not just from USA politicians, but politicians and diplomats worldwide.

It could make a difference. If it gains momentum. It's something to do, and I know I need to find something to do to try and make a positive difference...

...otherwise I'm just gnashing my teeth, rending my garments, and, casting my eyes to the heavens...
