I wish that polls had to show the percentage of the country who identify as Republican and Democrat and Independent. When it reports that 55% of Republican support x, y, or z, is that 55% of 25% of the country? I would really like for that to be included when the poll results are reported.

Well, not Beto, but his volunteer called my wife's 88 year old uncle in San Antonio today. He lives alone and we have been talking to him several times a day since all this started. He is doing fine. His power and water a back up and running. He was excited to be able to get a hot shower today. Beto's volunteer called this afternoon to check on him and if he needed anything. He's a good Democrat and was excited to get the call.

Woke up this morning to the destruction of my bird feeders. Even the S hooks from the tree limbs are AWOL!

Guess I will wait a few days before getting it all put back together. Cold and raining, so it'll just have to wait.

Anyone with a suggestion for keeping this from happening again, other than stop feeding the birds, please chime in!
