Trump's approval is now exactly where it was when he was inaugurated.

January 26, 2017: 44.3% approval. Now 44.3% Assume he will get a boost when the impeachment is voted down by the Senate, and we are f****d.

Sorry, but the raid was a disaster.

For a start, Trump has already argued that US forces shouldn't be in Syria and has ordered them to leave, so according to Trump, this raid should have never happened.

Second, the raid was delayed for a month because of the withdrawal order of US forces, triggering the Turkish invasion. And that withdrawal was to create a diversion from the impeachment investigation. Strategy and timing, when lives are at stake, shouldn't be based on the whims of a president.

Third, three children and two women died in this attack.

I don't see anything to gloat about here.

Four whiskeys - ask me anything - this has gone from a bad day to a very good day!

Drowning my sorrows when too many problems have got on top of me, but I look at the day's news and WOW! Trump cannot recover from this. This is the end of Trump! Turns out to be one of my best days after all. Or is that the whiskey talking?

Remember this day - the day that determined Biden will win the nomination and the presidency.

Trump fits the profile of a mass shooter and would have been one had he not had a rich daddy.

He is violent: He admitted in Art of the Deal to thumping a teacher at the age of eight.

Uses violent language: "I'll pay the legal fees," for protesters who get beaten up. He doesn't mind if the police "hit their heads little harder" as they put people in their vehicles. He's talked about "hitting their heads so hard their head will spin," and shooting somebody in fifth Avenue.

He lacks any empathy for others: Just one example would be that he boasted that he was going to take away healthcare from 32 million Americans.

He believes in nutty conspiracy theories, showing he is divorced from reality - China created climate change. Obama's birth certificate.

He is a hateful racist through and through: No need for examples.

He is obsessive to the extreme in his race-based grievances - taking out four full page ads against the Central Park 5 - nobody else in history has done this. Running for president to air his racial grievances - again nobody else is so extreme that they would do this.

Conclusion - had he not found an outlet to air his racial anger, and had he not had hundreds of millions from his daddy, he would be at high risk of being a shooter. This, the man who can at any time create a nuclear holocaust.

What would happen if a white kid at school told a kid of color to "go back to your own country?"

Let's say the school principle is a Republican. The racist kid was recorded saying it and multiple complaints were made. What would happen?

At any time Democratic lawmakers could hold Trump to account for his racism

Trump's support is exactly the same as when he was inaugurated, and currently trending upwards. Any messaging by Democrats that is negative about Trump isn't working.

Trump's support comes from Republicans and in part from Independents. I don't believe that a whole 44% of the nation is racist or would support Trump's most blatantly racist attack yet, against the four female lawmakers.

The statements by Democrats in reaction to Trump's attack aren't going to change a single vote.

They aren't going to reach the low-information voter. A lot of low-information voters aren't even aware of examples of Trump being racist.

Trump looks strong to his supporters. They think he is strong on defending America and strong on the economy. They think he is delivering what he promised. There's nothing that his supporters hear that contradict that.

At any time, Democrats could take control of the news narrative, but they choose not to. We had eight years of Republicans trying to bring down the best president in our lifetimes - "look at the debt," "he's raising the debt ceiling again," "he lied when he said you can keep your own doctor," "the Obama apology tour," etc. These were coordinated attacks, with Republicans working as a team. On attacks against Trump, there's nothing. There is no plan. There is no coordination. There's no strategy.

My message to Democratic lawmakers: Wake up! Our nation is under attack. Have a strategy. Fight dirty. Stop being nice. Stop dithering. Ditherers don't get elected. Work together as a team.

Do what ever you have to. Make Trump's unstable personality, his callousness and his racism a crisis. Make sure nearly every American knows there is a big difference between Trump and the Democratic Party.

It isn't working in a piecemeal approach. One Democrat says this, another Tweets that. That isn't proportionate to what is happening. We can't just wait for investigations or impeachment proceedings to damage Trump. We can't just wait for the economy to go south. These things may never happen.

Ideas on how to handle the racist attacks - Gather all Democratic lawmakers together and make a statement. Hold a press conference. Demand an apology. Refuse to work with Republicans until you get one. Bring the government to a halt if you need to. Make this the biggest story in the media that will drag on for weeks. Force Trump to be humiliated and come back begging Democrats to save him, and for once have to apologize - thereby making him look weak.

These are just some ideas, but whatever you are doing right now is not working. This isn't a game. It isn't a rehearsal. Stop fighting half-heartedly. By doing nothing other than just saying it is wrong, and therefore not changing a thing, you are part of the problem.

Find some gumption and bring a gun to a gun fight. Be strong. Show America you are pissed at this wannabe fascist and enough is enough. Look like strong leaders. Stand united to defend America and its values. At least try to look like you are trying to bring the bastard down.

This parade must be the laughing stock of leaders around the world.

A 6th grade history lesson, an unenthusiastic crowd, and some planes and helicopters occasionally flying by. If you've been to any air show in Europe or seen any military parade in any small European military town, you'd be laughing your head off. This is utterly pathetic!

What birthday gift would you like to give Trump?

I would give him a cactus with instructions to tell him what to do with it (would have to be in pictures!).

Ref: Bill Barr - Are we now in a constitutional crisis?

Bill Barr has already deliberately misled the public about the contents of the Mueller Report, in order to serve the interests of Donald Trump.

He also obviously supports the lack of co-operation by Trump into ongoing investigations.

Now he is weaponizing law enforcement agencies as a diversion and to feed the Trump narrative. On Trump's orders, he will try to show that the entire Russia investigation was a hoax, and Hillary Clinton should have been prosecuted, but wasn't because Comey and others wanted her to win the election.

Barr's own words and actions show that he is not prepared to protect the constitutional rights of lawmakers to provide oversight. He is only interested in serving the needs of the president.

It is clear that the Attorney General is now working, not for America, as he is supposed to, but for Donald Trump.

Are we now in a constitutional crisis?

What can be done about it?

Should Barr be impeached?

What realistically will happen to Barr?

And lastly, is Barr the most deplorable human being to ever be appointed Attorney General?
