Wait a minute. We live in a democracy and select based on who can do the job. We are not competing for a glee club spot, so we should (and others who say this) we want the good, not the best. Sometimes we have to make a choice that we are not happy with, often called being an adult, but choose you must.
As far as 'both sides do it' shows people who are not informed because that is not true. The KKK and the White Citizens Council are not the same although they may be similar in aim but not in function. I am unsure if that is a good analogy but my point is informed people vote, and make better decisions about the future of our country.

What maverick. Party line company man all the way...poor Arizona has temperatures that stop planes and not an old senile man whose time has come and gone two terms ago.
I honor what he has done for our country, even more than the orange turd who questioned his capture. He should think what Mr. Obama said about him, as opposed to his good old White Rich Priveledged GOP Friends including 45 McConnell.

He runs a privately held business, but I don't think he is making the decisions to garner profitability. His brother I think is what keeps the name going.
There is no way I can see this petty,incompetent, foolish, unsympathetic, crass, hateful, despicable person as having the sense except to satisfy his large ego and small hands.
Irony
This news makes me smile. An A NRA member shot by weapons he champions and an African-American lesbian whose ethnicity and orientation saves his life.
Let's see how this pans out, and yes, I pray for his recovery. Irony and justice in one story.
Secrecy is needed
So that the light of truth does not shine on their monstrous lies.
What a shame. 44 had transparency to work on healthcare, and they need to lie in the dark (get it?!) to take it away.
Funny how these statements
Spark the longer discussion of guns...and become obscured with who and when, what and how, but never WHY.
Maybe, just maybe
We can agree to limit automatic guns, high capacity weapons, unlimited bullets, stronger background checks, and oversee those with mental issues requiring a moratorium to buy weapons as a bipartisan way to reduce this type of senseless violence.
Or not.

Irony can be pretty ironic.
Maybe Scalise thinks so now too.
