Has Governor Deal been asked about Kemp overseeing his own election.

I realize that they are the same party.
I realize that Deal would have nothing to gain on his way out of office.
But, I wonder if any Georgia media has asked him what he thinks of the national embarrassment over the voter suppression that Kemp is leading.
If so, Governor Deal why don’t you ask him to recuse himself for this race.
And it would be a request since I don’t think Deal could order him to do so.

Fake both siderism & Fake false equivalency now rule our world.

Nothing can be addressed as it happens.
The gop has bought in lock, stock, and barrel to never apologize or take blame for ANYTHING.
They only divert to another topic or subject and then claim moral relativism.
Most mainstream media members still allow it or don’t challenge it effectively.
Facts don’t matter, folks.
We are in a post factual world.

Influencing your sphere of reference to make sure that they vote.

In these last two weeks, here’s how I’m trying to GOTV in my sphere of reference.
Just thought I’d pass it along in case anyone is looking for easy ways to help.

Go thru all of your phone, text, email, and any other kind of contact lists.

Write down those names that you are reasonably sure would (if they voted) vote Democratic.

Then, go thru the list and think about each person and what you think are their major concerns, interests, or what motivates them. Write a note down by their name.

Then contact them and find out if they have already early voted.....if so, thank them and tell them you hope they are encouraging others to vote….but, if they say “no or not yet”…..delve further to see if they are really going to vote or are wavering or somewhat apathetic. If this is the case, you then hit them with what would interest them most in voting for the Dems….e.g Trump hatred, health care, climate change, higher paying jobs, protecting Social security, protecting abortion rights, etc…….if you get a buy in from them that that they are interested in something...then close the deal on persuading them how important voting is and even offer to take them to vote if they are in your area. Breathless CNN & MSNBC pundits over a House "horse race"

Both besides themselves this morning with different pundits saying Trump and GOP surging in polls with Republicans coming home. Saying that blue wave now not gonna happen and Dems may or may not win back the House and will lose seats in the Senate.

I had to turn tv off. It wasn’t just a mention of a poll or two. It was a palpable glee and energy that Election night will somehow be exciting now.
Forget that the country has moved further into one party aristocratic rule. That’s ok with them.

I hate everyone right now. Going to take long bath. Then will get back on the phones trying to GET out the early vote in my area.

Will there be any exit polling of the midterms?

* Putting aside for now the discussion of how accurate or inaccurate they might be *

Has anyone heard if there will be any national or statewide or local district race exit polling?

If so, here’s some questions I will be most interested in:
Total number of votes nationwide and how that compares to 2010 and 2014.
Percentage of whites vs non white voters.
Total number or percentage votes for Dems and GOP candidates.
What percentage of white women voted for Dems.

What would you be most interested in knowing demographically?

Wearing BLUE the day I vote and on Nov.6. Blue 🌊!!!

I’m going to vote early next week with several others and we are all wearing blue when we go to vote.
Then in November, I’m going to walk through some different malls in my area wearing blue and a bumper sticker on my 👕 shirt that says Vote Blue. I’m hoping it puts out good vibrations and maybe reminds the casual/occasional voter type that they need to vote.

Most Old White GOP Men must be defeated - they will not change.

I’m tired of defending old white men like me.
I’m tired of listening to people who say we must reason with them.
I’m tired of hearing about compromise and bipartisanship with them.

Because they (on the whole/at least 70%) are racist and sexist, I truly believe.

I’ve spent a lifetime in southern cities and towns with them.
And while they can be (and often are) very polite and civil in public, that is not their true selves.
Being an old white man who always wears a ball cap (Go Braves!), I blend in with them.
I often go to where they hold their coffee clutches (mornings at McDonalds) and eavesdrop on them.
I have very good hearing despite being an old fart, sitting a few tables away.
Plus, if they see me nearby, I look like them so I am not threatening for them to speak openly.

And the Kavanaugh thing put me over the top.
Here’s some examples of what I heard.
“That woman was a liar, couldn’t remember anything”
“If she wasn’t a little whore, why was she at a drinking party with boys”
“ A lot of girls get boys all worked up to fuck em, then back out at the last minute and cry rape”
“She couldn’t know if it was Kavanaugh, she was a little drunk whore who screwed everyone “.
There was a lot more, most of of it even worse, but you get the picture.
Not one person defended her or said she might be telling the truth.

That’s who these people are.
As I say, I look and sound like these people (same southern accent), but I DONT THINK like them.
Many are your doctors, your lawyers, your business associates, your clergy.
It’s not all stereotypical red neck farmer types that think and feel this way either.
And, it’s not just women that they hate and disparage and think are only good for sex and babies.
That hate blacks, Browns, gays, Jews, Muslims, amongst others.
Anyone that doesn’t look, sound, speak, and THINK like them.
They can not be reasoned with.
Their only news sources are Fox News tv and hate talk radio.

Before Kavanaugh, I tried to understand these people, since I’m one of them physically.
I hoped they had changed by the year 2018.
But, they just went underground somewhat with their bigotry during the Obama years.
Now, with Trump, they feel empowered to say what they want without repercussions.
I hate being an old white man in 2018s America because I am so ashamed and embarrassed of what most (and, yes, I do believe MOST) of what white male America has in its hearts.

***For those saying I’m being racist against a group of people (white men over 50) - please tell me or show me with polling statistics where I’m wrong.
Vote them out on 11/6. Vote for women. Vote for black and Hispanic males. Only vote for older white males who you know aren’t sexist and racist ( a big hint - 99% of the time, they will have a D next to their name - not an R).
