Where's Katie Porter?

Thought she would get a shot at DeJoy?
Isn’t she on this committee?

Aren't there usually some polls that come out after a Convention?

The media always references what kind of “bump” someone gets.
Maybe on Monday we will see some ?
I’m hoping for at least a 5% Biden bump.

After Labor Day/Conventions Polls will be informative.

Since I’m an old guy (first vote was for Carter), I’ve learned not to get too excited or depressed about summer polling.
It’s really after Labor Day and both conventions that I really get all Susan Collins (concerned).
My hope is to see our ticket with a ten point national and five point battleground states lead after Labor Day.

Of course, no matter what the polls say (good or bad), we must all work like there’s no tomorrow.

Our goals:
Win the Electoral College big.
Win the Popular Vote big.
Take back the Senate.
Increase our House advantage.
Win back some statehouse Governorships and State Legislature’s.

We must all:
Register people
Win Everywhere!

Why don't they have the text number on the screen at the Convention ?

Many of our speakers keep referencing a number for people to text: vote30330

But, they never superimpose that number on the screen.
Why not?
In fact, it could just stay up in the upper left hand corner.
Just the marketing guy in me that notices things like this.

A request to Moderators for a "Good works" thread.

Could we have a pinned thread or forum for the next 76 days until November 3?
People would state what good things they had done that day to help Democrats win.

Such as:
“I helped register 50 new voters today”
“I wrote 50 post cards to undecided voters in a swing state today”
“I donated to a candidate today”

This would be a positive uplifting thread for people to brag about and get recognition for their efforts. It might also encourage others reading them to do the same things.

Just 11 more weeks to save our democracy.

Hyperbole? I don’t think so.
Let’s leave no stone unturned finding new voters.
Donate if you can
Volunteer if you can
Let’s save our country.

Will any of the networks call the race on election night?

I know all of the talk now is about suppressed mail in votes and what that could mean to late counting in many states going on for days or even weeks.
However, if Biden is SO FAR AHEAD in exit polling, released day of vote raw totals, number of registered Dems vs GOP mailed in ballots in a state - the call in many states may come between 7-11pm eastern time like in most Presidential elections.

According to the site 270 to win, Biden wins even without any of their tossup states.

So, here’s hoping we celebrate as soon as California is called on the night of November 3rd!

My advice to those running the DNC Convention

Since this is now just a virtual convention, it will basically just be a bunch of Zoom speakers.

I like the idea of having one hour on the first or second night called “Republicans for Biden”.
So far, former GOP Governor John Kasich is scheduled to speak.

I’d like to see a few others from the following list:
Nicolle Wallace
Steve Schmidt
Stuart Stevens
Joe Scarborough
Anna Navarro
Jennifer Rubin
David Frum
Jenna Bush
Meaghan McCain

I’d also like to see one hour dedicated to Democrats that voted for Trump in 2016 but now regret that vote. This would just be “real people” (not celebrities) from across the nation (especially those who live in swing states).

Van Jones said Biden will lose if he doesn't pick a black VP.

Just now on CNN With Erin Burnett.

Will any Bush family member endorse Biden?

Here’s my guess:
Jenna Bush (W’s daughter)
Your guesses?
