Typically there was little policy detail. But it was clear that the EPA and its $8bn budget would be on the chopping block should the Republican frontrunner become president.
Environmental protection we waste all of this money, he said. Were going to bring that back to the states. We are going to cut many of the agencies, we will balance our budget and we will be dynamic again.
The promise was an echo of recent statements from Trump on the EPA. He has said there is tremendous cutting to be done because the EPA arent doing their job, they are making it impossible for our country to compete.

Trump wants to 'open up' libel laws to sue media outlets
Source: thehill.com
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Friday vowed to open up libel laws in order to sue media outlets that write purposely negative and horrible articles about him.
Im gonna open up our libel laws, so when they write purposely negative and horrible, false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money, Trump said at a rally in Fort Worth, Texas.
Were going to open up those libels laws, he added. So that when The New York Times writes a hit piece, which is a total disgrace, or when The Washington Post, which is there for other reasons, writes a hit piece, we can sue them and win money.

He's upending everything to suit himself. He's insulted veterans and McCain, all his
fellow candidates. He'll roil Hillary, or convince Americans Bernie wants the bacon in
their refrigerators. He's a buzzsaw to anything in his path.
What's he really after? My guess: Trump Golf courses, Trump Hotels, and international business deals
with foreign developers.
He's after federal lands and the National Parks for private development. Just a guess at this point.

Republicans reject climate change fears despite rebukes from scientists
They have bloviated about carpet bombing, bickered about walls, and waxed anti-Muslim and -migrant, but over more than 16 hours of debate, the Republican candidates for president have almost entirely ignored what most of the world fears most: the rising tides and temperatures of climate change.
Last week, Fox News moderators asked only one question relevant to climate change, about whether Florida senator Marco Rubio would support regulation to lower emissions. Rubio said he would not: I do not believe that we have to destroy our economy in order to protect our environment.
