4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)

To the women of DU: You are loved and we stand with you.

This has been a historically horrific day. Just wanted all the women of DU to know you are loved and we will stand in solidarity with you!

Let's highlight a set of Loudermilks who weren't traitors...

The Louvin Brothers

Some country songs about Mama...for Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there

"The Only Hell my Mama Ever Raised"

"Mama Tried"

"Coat of Many Colors"

"She Loved a lot in Her Time"

"The Problem"- Amanda Shires, ft Jason Isbell

Seems appropriate

"A Good Year for the Roses"

This song always hit me. First, Jones' vocal performance is stellar. The emotional swings in his voice are incredible. Second, the arrangement is spot on. Third, Jerry Chestnut's lyrics hit on every level with lines like "at least you thought you wanted it, which is so much more than I can say for me"

This song was released April 15, 1957...some Killer for you

"Feelin' Good Again"....seems like a "good" Friday song

Marsha Blackburn is a joke and a white supremacist

Indianapolis...April 4, 1968
