Idiotic Trump quote of the moment: 9/11 > Pearl Harbor BC great people died, not just soldiers
Trump: 9/11 Way Worse Than Pearl Harbor Cuz ‘Great People’ Were Killed, Not Just Soldiers
On Monday, Donald Trump made a quick stop in Buffalo to get one last dig in at veterans before the New York primary. In a speech meant to pander to what he referred to as “New York values,” Trump declared that 9/11 was the worst attack in our nations history (and he remembered not to call it 7/11 this time).
Still, it wouldn’t be a Donald Trump speech without him finding the most callous and horrible way to say something. So he was quick to clarify that 9/11 was worse than Pearl Harbor because civilians died, not just military.
Apparently the 2,403 men and women who died at Pearl Harbor somehow weren’t “great people.” Yes, he was just trying to stroke the egos of New Yorkers, but to say that somehow the death of military personnel is less tragic because they were voluntarily serving their country is a huge slap in the face to both veterans and current members of the armed forces. These were American lives lost in a horrific and terrible way. Not only does Trump try to make it a competition, but he does so by belittling the memory of Pearl Harbor, by implying that the lives lost there were less significant.

Jenner, an American celebrity first recognized for his gold medal-winning triumph in the Olympic decathlon in 1976, re-emerged in the spotlight several years ago with the E! Television series “Keeping up with the Kardashians” as the stepfather to celebrity-personalities Kim Kardashian and her siblings. That celebrity status and the declaration of his transgender transformation have resulted in an upcoming E! Television docuseries focused exclusively on Jenner.
“Being dead center in the public’s eye is nothing new for Jenner, but it’s a spotlight that other attention-starved celebrities feel is dimming their own respective spotlights. With that in mind, conservative political firebrand, columnist and author Ann Coulter has publicly stated that “for all intents and purposes, I am a woman, too.” This statement, a direct quote from Jenner’s “20/20” interview announcing his embrace of his life as a female, was met with little immediate fanfare.
Shortly after quoting the former Olympian, Coulter continued defending her femininity via Facebook post: “Lately my attention has turned to numerous comments and statements that are trying to also classify me as transgender. I’ve been reading things like ‘She’s got an Adams apple, she has no boobs, her feet are too big for a woman,’ etc. Even though I find these comments utterly ridiculous and have no idea where they come from, I wish to make it clear I am 100% a woman.”
However, the author didn’t stop there: “However, in the interest of protecting myself and those I care about, I hereby announce that I will sue every single person, internet provider, website and TV station that say or refer to me as transgender in any way. This is a decision I have made easily, and stand by it all the way.”
Anyone want to call out her bluff?

Satire: First Shipment Of Thoughts And Prayers Departs NOLA For Earthquake Affected Countries
NEW ORLEANS, LA – Aid has officially begun trickling out of the state, as the first aircraft laden with thoughts and prayers departed New Orleans Louis Armstrong Airport early this morning headed for earthquake victims in Ecuador. A flight also took off shortly after headed for Japan.
Both countries have been affected by strong earthquakes in the last week, and the generosity of Louisiana residents was clear as almost 1.5 million thoughts and prayers were donated to the American Red Cross in the past five days alone, all of which will definitely help victims in rebuilding their lives.
A small ceremony was held at the airport prior to the flights departure, in which New Iberia resident Joni Breaux, official world record holder for ‘Most Prayers Sent Via Facebook’ cut a ribbon to mark the beginning of the aid shipments.
Just for laughs

Just a few weeks ago, West Virginians passed a law overriding the cruel, barbaric raw milk prohibition that’s plagued the state for years. To mark the occasion, these same dairy-loving lawmakers downed what else but a tall glass of milk—raw and dirty just like god intended.
