Don't miss the debate tonight!

CNN is reporting that Hillary will be changing her tactics with with regard to Bernie Sanders and that she will be "sharpening the contrasts" between the two candidates. I translate that into the fact that she is going to finally go negative on Sanders.

Among other things Hillary is reportedly going criticize Sanders for all of the negative comments he has made against President Obama. (In my view it is about time she comes out swinging on this issue. I am tired of it myself and the black populations in the upcoming primaries need to know Sanders has been overly critical of the first black President.) Surely she is going to point out that almost all of the black leaders are backing her.

It has long been said that Hillary is at her best when she assumes the position of the underdog and despite the fact that the upcoming primaries look good for her, I'm sure that Sanders taking "victory laps" after New Hampshire has put her in a feisty mood.

Go get em Hillary!!! Bernie thinks the "kitchen sink" is coming his way - he hasn't a clue what a fired up Hillary can bring.

Bernie campaign sent a new spokesperson to be interviewed on CNN this morning

I was still a bit sleepy so I didn't get her name, but she is a black woman. I watch CNN a lot and I am pretty sure this was her first appearance for the Sanders campaign. Before now it was always a white guy speaking for the for Bernie's organization. With a crucial primary coming up in SC, I found the sudden change of the campaign spokesperson a little.....well, obvious and may even a little condescending, but certainly interesting.

Congressional Black Caucus endores Hillary

(I hope this is not a duplicate post)

I just saw an interview on CNN with Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York who announced, or at least reinforced the endorsement of Hillary Clinton by the Congressional Black Caucus. He gave one of the most eloquent narratives in support and in defense of Hillary's continually work on behalf of the black community throughout her lifetime. They need to put him on a commercial.

When he was challenged with the statement that Bill Clinton was President when the legislation which resulted in many young black men going to jail, Hakeem countered with a devastating rebuttal saying that Bernie Sanders voted for that legislation in the House. (I didn't know that.)

This is perfect while Sanders is turning over every stone trying to find some black leaders to endorse him going into South Carolina and the other Southern primaries.

Enough is enough! This alerting and hiding game has gone for far too long!

I was just finished reading a post by stevenleser in which he provided a link to an article. I typed out a brief message in reply, but when I tried to post my reply I got a message - "you can not reply to this post because it has been hidden by jury decision' or something along those lines. I can attest that there was nothing harmful to anyone on this board or to DU - the article simply criticized Bernie Sanders - who I consider fair game. (The jury decision was 6-1.) Heck, there have been lies and mud raking articles about Hillary published on GD-P and someone can't publish an article suggesting that Sanders has been disingenuous here in the Hillary Group? That ridiculous! And we shouldn't take this laying down!

Right now someone is currently exchanging PM's with his/her buddies giggling about how they hid another Clinton supporter in his own group.

Something needs to be done! Now!
We have petitioned individually only to be told that fixes are coming, but we must wait until after the primaries. Well heck, the need for the fixes will not be needed then for at least another four years, maybe eight if Hillary wins the nomination. We need a fix to this abomination NOW!

There is strength in numbers - some of you folks have been around DU a lot longer than I have - what can we do together?

Be careful in the Hillary Group - I just got hid again on a post here

You have probably seen this sentence describing the group: "Groups often serve as safe havens for members who share similar interests and viewpoints." WRONG!!!!

The post was "CNN Focus Group in South Carolina - Bernie's momentum goes "thud"" Some of you may remember it, it described a CNN segment on a Democratic focus group in South Carolina who watched Bernie Sanders's victory speech in NH and how they reacted to it. It had 25 Rec's.

The post was totally benign; I could re-post the entire post and none of the regular members of the Hillary group would even think to hid it. However, apparently a lurker objected to a term I used for Bernie supporters, BernieB***, and there was a 4-3 jury vote to hide the post.

I have seen that term used in this group many times without consequence, but apparently the Bernie people are extra sensitive these days. I am certain that the jury members object more to the candidate I support and the how I described the way that the SC focus group reacted to Bernie's speech more than the use of the term. They have a odd way of showing me how much they want me to support their candidate should by some miracle he win the nomination.

Bottom line: Unless we can manage to throw out all of the lurkers, this group is not safe.
