A musician in one of my bands is a Republican. Most are. I try to keep politics an arm’s length from SRV, but we talked a bit about what’s his name in the Oval Office. I asked him if he would vote for tRump again and he said “God no”. He said that around “conservative” Republicans, he would be an outcast. He believes in much, not all, of Republican ideology, and believes that what’s his name has done some good things, which is more than I could say. As is usually the case with many of us, he grew up in a Republican household, so he’s Republican. As a side note, my father was a die hard Republican, a thought that never crossed my mind.

The point is, he’s in his mid 30s and hopefully represents a newer generation of voters. He likes what the party stands for, but is appalled at the daily dose of BS coming out of tRump and his band of gypsies. (Oh Firestorm, you sly dog - slipping in a band name)

Maybe there’s hope in the younger generation. One can only hope.

Abortion is no longer the issue.
Pollution of our air and water is no longer the issue.
Civil rights is no longer the issue.
Venezuela, China, Iran is no longer an issue.
Voting rights is no longer the issue.
The price of gasoline is no longer the issue.
The southern border and immigration is no longer the issue.

The very survival of our democracy at the hands of a corrupt regime is the one and only issue. Thousands have given their lives in countless wars or have come home crippled for life defending our Constitutional democracy - the flag of the United Stated of America. It’s all at stake right now, and yet, we still pander.

Wake up people, we’re in a serious situation.

“I have no problem if they release the entire report” - stated days before it became public that Barr received the report from Mueller. Coincidence? Gibbs doesn’t believe in coincidences. (humor)

Again, he’s put it right out in the open with no fear of repercussion, guilt, shame, or remorse even before word came down that the report was concluded. There’s always more behind the scenes. The truth? We’ll more than likely never know. Who knows what and how much was altered? Who knows how or if Barr re-interpreted the report to his own liking? At this point the truth could and probably will be stonewalled for years. And we can continue to believe in Santa Claus. Years of Rachael, story lines of the century, strong hard allegations that now seem like a bad plot line in Days Of Our Lives. Honestly, it’s more than a bit disillusioning. But, perhaps that’s part of the plan?

I fear for our future.

The Rochester Republican and his attorneys refused to accept a subpoena, turn over documents and agree to have him sit for a deposition because they maintain he is immune from civil legal actions.

Democrat Attorney Ruth Greenwood responded; “Assembly members, including Speaker Vos, have waived any claim to legislative immunity in this case by intervening as a defendant and actively participating in the litigation, including filing motions and discovery requests.”

I posted something rather vulgar yesterday and it was taken down by DU. For that, I apologize to my fellow DUers, and promise to curb my frustration. It was uncalled for.

Has anybody heard any more about the young Ballarusian “sex trainer” who was imprisoned in Thailand and recently released to go home, but was on a plane that was diverted to Moscow for her “detention.” She allegedly had serious info on Deripaska related to Trump. Our State Dept. supposedly went to Thailand to interview her, but they were not allowed access to her in prison. Odd? I thought the good old US of A had clout.

Videos of her on a yacht with Deripaska and two wealthy (duh) men with distinct American accents that she had taken were shown on the media. I’m just wondering if our government will black out of any further information (censored). She made be already be dead and buried. I’d like to know if anybody has read more about this.

A few minutes ago I posted a reply to the Home Page post referring to Brennen as concurring that Trump is a “clear and present danger”. I suggested DUers contact Pelosi and Schumer to demand that we, the public, get to see the final outcome of the report in its entirety, as we have endured scandal after scandal for the past two years and have been conditioned by the Joke In Chief himself to handle the ultimate outcome of Mueller’s report.

I was unable to directly contact either Pelosi or Schumer as I not reside within their constituency, and was directed to contact my Representative, one of whom is Ron Johnson, who gives a rat’s ass what I want to see. The other is Steil, who again is a rubber stamp for corruption.

So, screw me.

About the only time Trump isn’t shooting himself in the foot is when he’s reloading the gun.
