TYT: Hillary Clinton’s Hit List - Keeping track of enemies

Hillary Has a Hit List - Keeping track of her friends, and enemies - Are You on the List??

Inside a cramped third-floor office of Hillary Clinton’s once-bustling presidential campaign headquarters in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, Va., Kris Balderston and Adrienne Elrod put the finishing touches on a political hit list. It was late June 2008, and Hillary had dropped her bid for the presidency earlier that month. The war room, where her brain trust had devolved into profanity-laced shouting matches, was empty. The data crunchers were gone. The political director had drifted out. A handful of Hillary’s aides had already hooked up with Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign in Chicago.

This is scary to think they have been keeping files on people for 30 years. I wonder how many of us are on her enemies lists?

In 15 Tweets Bernie Sanders Clobbers Clinton Welfare Reform

"In my view, we need to repeal the 1996 welfare reform
provisions and expand, not weaken, the social safety net."

Sanders thanks Bill Clinton for 'being my psychoanalyst'

Bernie Sanders on Friday offered Bill Clinton a sarcastic thanks for his "psychoanalyst" work after the former president suggested attacks on his wife's White House qualifications were attributable to "subconscious" double standards.

"I appreciate Bill Clinton being my psychoanalyst," Sanders told CNN's Jake Tapper during an interview for "State of the Union." "It's always nice, but the reality is that ever since Wisconsin, when that became the sixth out of seven states that we have won in either caucuses or primaries, I think the Clinton campaign has made it public, basically, they have told the media that here in New York, they're about to become very negative, about to beat us up."

Questioned by a reporter earlier in the day if "gender was a factor" in the debate over whether Clinton is qualified to be commander in chief, the 42nd president said, "Yes, I think there are some different standards. Some of them are subconscious."

Sanders has insisted that Clinton instigated the ongoing fight, and that he was only defending himself when he cited her 2002 Iraq war vote and willingness to accept super PAC support as evidence she isn't "qualified" to be president.

Between Bill Clinton and Black Lives Matter, a generational divide

Former President Bill Clinton clashed with Black Lives Matter protesters in a lengthy and heated exchange in Philadelphia Thursday over the effect his 1994 crime bill on African-Americans.

The deeper query, however, is “Who’s right?”

The answer to that – whether the crime bill was a mistake that needlessly incarcerated thousands of blacks, or a necessary response to a surge in urban crime – may depend on one’s generational and racial perspective.

Let’s step back and let the protest set the stage. While speaking in Philadelphia on behalf of his wife Thursday, Bill Clinton was repeatedly heckled about his crime bill and its effects. According to reports from the scene, the protesters were persistent and angry. One yelled that Mr. Clinton should be charged with crimes against humanity.

The protesters were speaking from an experience in which police violence against blacks and the disproportionate imprisonment of young black men have become enormous national issues. Rightly or wrongly, the ’94 crime bill, which expanded the death penalty, encouraged states to hand out lengthier prison sentences, and reduced federal aid for inmate education, is often cited as a wellspring of today’s US incarceration policies.

Bill Clinton Reaches Peak White Mansplain in a Face-Off Against Black Lives Matter Protesters

Excerpt from jezebel.com:

Bill Clinton Reached Peak White Mansplain in a Face-Off Against Black Lives Matter Protesters

Bill Clinton filled in for his wife and presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton at a rally in Philadelphia, where he proceeded to clash with protesters from the Black Lives Matter movement in a way that can only be categorized as “peak cis white mansplain.”

The incident, which took place on April 7, began when Clinton addressed a group of BLM demonstrators situated near the podium, many of whom held homemade signs festooned with anti-Hillary slogans.

Many of the messages, like “Hillary Clinton Is A Murder” [sic] and “Black Youth Are Not Super Predators” alluded to the former president’s 1994 crime bill—Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act—which has since been held responsible for a rise in mass incarceration rates.

According to Reuters, ten years after the bill was passed into law, “6 percent of all black men in their 30s were in prison, a rate six times higher than that of white men of the same age,” with 1.56 million prisoners overall incarcerated in federal or state institutions.

Bill's half baked non-apology seems to be getting him nowhere fast.

"Black on Black Crime": Bill Clinton's heated defense of his and Hillary's record was reminiscent

Bill Clinton defended his record on criminal justice and mass incarceration by citing murders and drugs in the black community. That's very very close to the arguments made by right wingers like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh to justify state terror against the Black community. They justify police murder of unarmed black men by citing that "black on black crime is worse". When is the lst time you heard any of these blowhards cite statistics for "white on white crime"? The fact is most crime is committed in people's own neighborhooods.

The internet took notice:

His heated defense of his and Hillary Clinton's crime record reminded some people of the "black on black crime" argument, which insists Black people themselves are solely responsible for incarceration and poverty in their community.

Not cool at all Bill Clinton. You're not helping your case with this.
