I've witnessed several historic events the last week or so.

1) The confederate flag being torn from it's masts.

This may seem symbolic for some, but the symbolism is deeply rooted in our nations history. I really never thought I'd see the day.

2) Marriage equality

The ENTIRE friggen country! Equality for all! The repubs will keep being dragged kicking, but they've not only lost the battle, they've lost the war on LGBTQ!

I thought I might see that during my lifetime, but I'm still shocked that THIS court did it! Thank you, Justice Kennedy!

Just ponder the history we are living. Twenty years from now it will seem unbelievable that this nation supported this bigotry and hate for so long.

I'm pretty happy today.

I saw 2 separate clips on MSNBC of him belittling, and degrading, one on the Today show with Savannah Guthrie.

I'm a Caucasion, and therefore have a view based on my personal experiences (I'm 60 yrs OLD).

#1 - I find that bigots are programmed by their parents and/or respected friends and contacts.
#2 - I believe that all human beings should have inalienable rights. Those rights include not being ostracized for having different sexual norms.
#3 - I believe we need to go back to a liberal education model.
#4 - I believe bigots and racists should be ineligible for federal office.
#5 - If I ever come face-2-face with Ted Nugent, he'd better be well armed. All i need is my fists. Can anyone say "douchebagel"?
